We use OwnerRez as our property management system to process reservations and manage guest information. Personal information that you provide during the booking process may be stored and processed through OwnerRez in accordance with their privacy practices and this Policy.

We may offer services in connection with other websites or platforms (such as booking channels or payment processors). Personal information that you provide to those sites may be sent to Pacific View Lodging in order to deliver the service. We process such information in accordance with this Policy. The affiliated sites may have different privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Other Sites

This Privacy Policy applies to websites and services that are owned and operated by Pacific View Lodging, Inc. We do not exercise control over third-party sites displayed as search results or links from within our website. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data, or solicit personal information from you.

Pacific View Lodging only processes personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

• Providing vacation rental services to guests, including reservation processing, property access, and customer support

Please note that even if you opt out of promotional communications, we will still send you transactional messages related to your reservation.

Pacific View Lodging does not sell, rent, or share personal information (such as phone numbers, email addresses, names, or any other identifiable information) with other companies or individuals outside of Pacific View Lodging and our essential service providers, except in the following limited circumstances:

With Your Consent: We require opt-in consent for sharing of any personally identifiable information. Consent may be provided explicitly in writing, by checking a box on an online consent form, or by providing your phone number for SMS communications.

Service Providers: We share information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our business, including:

Aggregated, Non-Personally Identifiable Information: We may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information with our partners for purposes such as advertising or negotiating better rates for our guests. Such information does not identify you individually.

When you use Pacific View Lodging's services, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes.

We may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup systems), or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort.

Pacific View Lodging regularly reviews its compliance with this Policy. When we receive formal written complaints, Pacific View Lodging's policy is to contact the complaining guest regarding his or her concerns. Changes to This Policy

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Policy without your explicit consent, and we expect most such changes will be minor. Regardless, we will post any Policy changes on our website and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including email notification of Policy changes). SMS/Text Messaging

Consent and Purpose

Pacific View Lodging offers SMS/text messaging services to communicate with guests regarding their reservations. By providing your mobile phone number during the booking process or by opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive text messages from Pacific View Lodging at the phone number you provided.

Text messages may include, but are not limited to:

• Reservation confirmations
• Pre-arrival information and check-in instructions
• Property access codes and wifi passwords
• Important updates about your reservation
• Check-out reminders and instructions
• Post-stay follow-up messages
• Customer service responses
• Promotional offers (only if you have opted in to marketing messages)

Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies depending on your reservation and guest activity. You may receive several messages related to each reservation. Message and data rates may apply as charged by your mobile carrier. Pacific View Lodging is not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier.

Opt-Out and Support

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by:

• Replying STOP to any text message you receive from us

For help or support with text messages, reply HELP to any message or contact us directly.

Please note that opting out of text messages may affect our ability to provide you with time-sensitive information about your reservation.

Information Collection and Use

When you opt in to receive text messages, we collect and store your mobile phone number. This information is used solely for the purpose of communicating with you about your reservation and, if you have opted in, sending you promotional offers. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Our SMS service provider may have access to your phone number for the purpose of delivering messages. They are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only to provide text messaging services on our behalf.

Regulatory Compliance

Pacific View Lodging's SMS/text messaging program complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA guidelines, and all applicable federal and state regulations governing text messaging communications.

GDPR Compliance

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European Union regulation governing the privacy of consumer data.

Pacific View Lodging, Inc. is a US-based company with no subsidiaries or legally-registered operations in the European Union. As such, we are not directly subject to European regulations. However, we recognize that some of our guests may be European residents, and we have designed our data practices to be compliant with the principles of the GDPR.

Our booking process follows best practices for data collection and handling:
