Partnership with Kind Traveler and The Friends of Otter Rock Marine Reserve
Pacific View Lodging, in partnership with Kind Traveler’s Every Stay Gives Back program, supports Friends of Otter Rock. The mission of Friends of Otter Rock is to protect and preserve rocky shore intertidal life, nesting and migrating sea birds, and marine mammals that inhabit Devil's Punch Bowl State Natural Area, Otter Rock Marine Gardens, Otter Rock Marine Reserve, and the National Islands Wildlife Refuge. Through our community impact program, $2 per stay will fund Friends of Otter Rock. 100% of funds are given to Friends of Otter Rock. Otter Rock Marine Reserve and The Friends of Otter Rock
The Otter Rock Marine Reserve is situated just south of Pacific View Lodging's Depoe Bay properties along Cape Foulweather and plays a crucial role in conserving marine biodiversity and protecting fragile ecosystems along the Oregon coast. It supports scientific research, public education, and sustainable recreation practices.
The Friends of Otter Rock, a nonprofit organization that collaborates with the marine reserve to preserve the natural resources and cultural heritage of Otter Rock and its surroundings. Their initiatives include beach clean-ups, environmental education programs, and community outreach, fostering a deeper connection between visitors and the marine environment.

Directions: From Depoe Bay, head south on Highway 101 for approximately 5 miles. Turn west onto Otter Crest Loop and follow signs to Otter Rock Marine Reserve parking area.
