Friends of Otter Rock works to help protect rocky shore intertidal life, nesting and migrating seabirds, marine mammals, and the natural and cultural resources of the Otter Rock area.
$2 from every stay helps support conservation, education, and outreach connected to this remarkable part of the Oregon Coast. 100% of those funds are given directly to Friends of Otter Rock.

From a Coastal Stay to Real Stewardship
One of our favorite parts of this program is how directly it connects a guest stay with the people doing the work on the shoreline. From interns leading tidepool conversations to volunteers helping protect nesting habitat, each stay helps support hands-on stewardship along the Oregon Coast.
Explore Otter Rock During Your Stay
Otter Rock is an easy day trip for guests staying with Pacific View Lodging in Depoe Bay and nearby on the Central Oregon Coast. It is a great stop for families, nature lovers, photographers, and anyone who wants to experience one of the coast’s most ecologically important places up close.
From Depoe Bay, head south on Highway 101 for about five miles, then turn west onto Otter Crest Loop and follow signs toward the Otter Rock area. It is an easy outing that adds a little more connection to the place you came here to enjoy.
