Guests of Pacific View Lodging help support Friends of Otter Rock through Kind Traveler’s Every Stay Gives Back program. The mission of Friends of Otter Rock is to help protect and preserve rocky shore intertidal life, nesting and migrating seabirds, marine mammals, and the natural and cultural resources of the Otter Rock area.

Through this community impact program, $2 is given by each guest that stays with us to help support Friends of Otter Rock. 100% of those funds are given directly to Friends of Otter Rock to support conservation, education, and outreach connected to this remarkable part of the Oregon Coast.

Otter Rock is an easy coastal stop for guests staying in Depoe Bay and nearby Pacific View Lodging properties. Visitors can explore the area’s scenic shoreline, learn more about local marine ecosystems, and experience one of the Oregon Coast’s most ecologically important areas firsthand.

From Depoe Bay, head south on Highway 101 for about five miles, then turn west onto Otter Crest Loop and follow signs toward the Otter Rock area. It is a beautiful outing for families, nature lovers, photographers, and anyone who wants to experience the coast in a deeper way.
