Everything was great

We enjoyed staying a night in Depoe bay. The place felt very comfortable and warm. Our dog Thor enjoyed the beach and thankfully the place had a towel just for him and covers for the furniture so Thor can feel like home. Very peaceful and we never felt in danger. We will sure book again <3.

We will be staying here again! Nice and clean. Quiet and private. We were in a middle unit and we did not hear either of our neighbors. Highly recommend the units and owners!

Great place

Perfect little place for my son and I to stay for the night. The kitchen was equipped with just the right utensils for our needs. bathroom was spacious and clean. Loved the positive shower curtain. TVs were easy to use. Checking in and out was a breeze. vending machine was great for the late night drink craving. Coffee was perfect for rising to shine! Will book again! Great price and peaceful stay for our first coastal outing of the year. Thank you!

Place was well located with easy walking to shops in Depoe Bay. Tidy, but there was a noticeable problem with house flies during our stay. Thank you for the weekend get away!

Great place to stay that’s very walkable to Depoe Bay!! And I was impressed with the cleanliness and available snacks and toiletries! My only critique would be the pull out bed, it wasn’t at all comfortable, so not super suitable for adults.

This place was perfect for our use! Clean, comfortable, quiet, and close to everything we needed. The hide-a-bed and regular bed were great to sleep on. If you are looking for a place to stay and don't need all the glitz of a fancy place this is the place for you! Peggy was very responsive and helpful. Loved the Trollers Lodge!!!! It was very beautiful and everyone was very sweet. The place was even bigger than I had originally thought, and was very spacious and amazing. They also have lots of toiletries- even toothbrushes and razors and shaving cream! Will definitely be coming back to stay.

The lodging was very cozy, well-furnished with lots of small details considered...like providing extra towels and coverings to protect bedding and furniture from pets wet feet or coats. The mattress was very comfortable and the self-controlled heating made the stay very pleasant.

Great place, I recommend if you want a cheap and clean place in Newport.

This place was so cute. The sofa bed was fairly comfy, and the self check in was prefect. Rustic, but you can tell they do the cleaning thoroughly. I felt comfy to relax, even though things are a bit compact.

The Lodge is in a great area. Depoe Bay is a perfect stopping place. A short walking distance to town and spectacular views of the coast. There is no ocean view from the Lodge. It's a cozy, very comfortable place to stay.

Very cute spot right off the road, up a small hill. Very walkable neigborhood, lovely views, and overall pretty quiet. Arrived on Sunday, checked out on Monday. Cozy spot full of character and surrounded by beautiful ocean air. Next time in the area will book again.

Peggy and Bill are the best of the best as far as communication, being extremely helpful, understanding, and very confident in helping you get out of sticky situations. We arrived on time, but could not find our reservation on the Airbnb app. Peggy and Bill took care of it right away, found our room, cleared up our lost reservation and reimbursed us when I overbooked the room 3X! Our room was cozy, clean, comfortable, and very quiet. Our neighbors were incredibly friendly!

Looking forward to planning another trip to the coast to surf at Otter Beach. Location is perfect. Easy to walk into town, nice location as you are up on a bluff and can hear and see the ocean. Comfortable bed and linens, great coffee maker and picnic tables to enjoy the yard area. Very much enjoyed my stay!

We really appreciated the reserved parking space for our unit; the decor was very tasteful; the location was great for walking to town or to the beach; not sure if there was a public space for guests to congregate. Bill and Peggy’s Trolleys Lodge was an awesome stay. It was super affordable, clean, and well set up. The bed was comfortable, and the room stayed warm. The viewpoint right next to the lodge is super nice too.

Great spot! The room was slightly smaller than we thought, but it was accurate to the pictures. Amenities were nice with the small fridge & freezer, utensils were great, and the TV's worked well. We loved our stay and hugely appreciated how dog-friendly Troller’s Lodge was (covers were provided to lay on the furniture and there was a perfect grassy area right out behind our cottage with bags available should you forget to bring your own). Everything was very clean and we were so kindly allowed to check in early. Great location and price as well. Would absolutely stay here again.

My stay at Pacific View Lodging Bill & Peggy’s was absolutely amazing!! It was calm, peaceful and relaxing. Super clean and had everything you need right at your fingertips. I loved the grill outback and cooked a nice dinner outside. The weather was wonderful and I am so thankful for my stay here and would love to come back soon!

I spoke to Peggy on the phone she was very kind, helpful, and cheerful. She helped me get checked in quickly, and efficiently. The room was cute and rustic. The bathroom was clean, and I enjoyed taking a hot bath. The towel where crisp and clean. The small kitchen was helpful. The ad warns you that dogs very much stay in their units, so I was not surprised to find some dog hair about the unit. I did not expect to find it in the bedding. That was a bit of an unwelcome surprise. There was a lot of dog hair on the outer blankets, that ended up getting on the sheets and pillowcases.

This lodge was perfect. Quaint and Depoe is tiny so very walkable from lodge. Manager? Owner? Woman was friendly. This place fits perfectly into the scene. Would pick here over a massive corporate hotel any day.

Great stay

Cute little place. Very clean and close to food and shopping. A short walk to a cool little bench over looking the entrance to the bay. We like the location of Depoe bay, short drives to Newport and Lincoln City. Will definitely come back. We had lunch at the little Mexican place a few blocks north, which was quite good. Also went to Tidal Raves down the highway for dinner, which was excellent. All in all a wonderful little getaway! Thanks Bill and Peggy!

The lodge is in a great location, we watched whales every night! We could walk just a short distance and get a beautiful view of the sunsets. During our stay we lost a cell phone and Peggy was responsive when I contacted her about it. Thankfully we found it in the road. Good place for a few day stay.

The place was absolutely beautiful, we were allowed to stay with our cats, which was one of the only places in the area that allowed that. The space had a bunch of amenities such as, tooth brushes, razors, tea, and coffee. We could see the ocean from the porch and the bed was super comfortable. It was very clean, we loved it!

Charming little place to call home for the night — the retro style was cute and the place had all that one could wish for on a getaway. Close enough to stroll into town and hear the crash of the waves at night. Def. recommend.

We had an awesome stay in Depoe Bay! This location was great for walking to the main strip of restaurants. It has a good view of the water! Although a little smaller than expected, the bed was cozy, it was stocked with items, and felt quiet and safe. We definitely would stay again.

Stayed here over night with my girlfriend. Place was everything I hoped for and even better! Nice little place with every amenity you could want. Bed was super comfy and I loved how close it was to center of Depoe Bay. Highly recommend for a weekend trip and staying for more than one night.

Overall this was a nice stay! The place was clean and as described. The only issue was that one set of blinds was broken and couldn’t close, so I felt a little on display without an option to not be. But im sure that was a one off situation as the rest of the place was in great shape!

We came to Depoe Bay to watch the king tides and the location of Troller's Lodge was excellent for that! We would stay there again.

This place is super cute! Very small. Would not hesitate to stay again. The directions linked from this site took me the wrong way to get there, but it was not hard to find the front side and the parking. There's a place for your doggy to go potty and a stairway that leads down to a neighborhood so you don't have to walk on the highway shoulder to walk into Depoe Bay. The outside lights stayed on all night and were quite bright, even with a sleep mask.

Had an amazing stay at the Troller’s Lodge! The walk downtown was really easy and fun. We always have a great time stopping by the Depoe Bay Winery and there’s no shortage of great places to find seafood. We saw interesting birds, seals, and spouts from lots of whales. The space itself was excellent. Easy to find and exactly what we needed. The bed was comfy, the bath was great, and we had all the room we needed. We actually pulled out the sofa bed in the living room to have an even comfier space to Lou few. The space has a nice outdoor area with access to bags to clean up after your dogs. So great to have a spot to say that is safe, clean, convenient, and dog friendly! We will be back.

Great place to stay for a night or two. I appreciated how much they communicated to let us know that there was no kitchen only a kitchenette. Airbnb lets you check in early, but does not communicate that to the owners. If you wanna early check-in, I recommend contacting the owners directly. They knew great spots for beach access when we called and asked! Sadly doesn’t have beach access attached, but it was okay! Very kind and flexible people.

Never heard a word from the owners, the groundskeeper was very sweet though while dealing with a day-long power outage. Nice amenities and location, would consider booking there again.

Host are very communicative, emailing you with the information and open for communication. It's a bunch of these little style rooms all together in the same complex. Bed was comfortable, and room warmed up great!

Bill was communicative and the place was super clean. I really only slept there so I don't have a review of the amenities, but the check in and check out process were very easy.

Depoe bay was a great location to stay and we really enjoyed the walkability of the area after spending the day in the car driving up the coast. We would stay again for sure.

This is a great little place in an exceptional location, a very quiet neighborhood 3-5 blocks from a lot of good food and ocean views. Do make sure to note that there’s no cooking surface in the unit. Recommended.

Good for a quick overnight stop. The location was great for us, we spent our time at the bay watching the whales and our morning at Whale Bites Cafe. The place was smaller than I expected, but that was ok for the two of us. There was a water heater or something that makes a noise in ours and the unit next to us, woke us up early in the morning.

We thought this place is a house but it was a apartment and the size really small. At night when you sleep hear noisy and loud fan on and off all night and stuff around. You can hear everything around you not easy to sleep deep.

Great spot to stay for a couple days. Cute furnishings, easy check in, excellent location. Loved the Thai restaurant across the street, definitely stop in there. The pet area was easy access and had everything we needed. Good hot water and water pressure. Heat worked great (definitely don’t leave stuff in front of the vent!) and we were super cozy and comfortable. Nice to have assigned parking. Everything was very easy, low stress. I’ll be back!

This is a great place to stay! It is in a great location within 20 minutes of Lincoln City and Newport! You can see the ocean from the property! The space is very cozy and the bathroom was stocked with brand new wrapped toothbrushes, razors and face wipes! The were plenty of blankets and pillows! Lot of channels to watch on the tv and a very easy check in and check out!

If your staying on the Oregon coast and don't want to stay in a hotel, Trollers lodge close to the beach and has all the amenities. It was very quiet and clean and we were allowed to bring our furry friends.

This place is comfortable and the hosts are very quick to respond to any needs. It is smaller than the pictures made it look, but very comfortable. I would recommend it to someone wanting to stay in Depoe Bay.

Check in was clear and easy, the room was clean, comfy bed and nice hot shower. They done a great job on the maintenance of the place, upgrading where needed, but keeping its' historic character. We would stay again.

Bill's place is motel style . Very very clean, and in order to avoid smell in the room, there is a sign that asking guests not to boil crap and clean fish in the room. That's great. Very warm in the room also, I tested it in late January, and outside is in 30s degree. Bath room is good also. Oh it provides a razor shaver, and I happen didn't shave before my trip. Thanks Bill

We loved that it felt like an actual apartment than a hotel room. It was conveniently located, well kept with great amenities and comfortable beds. It was nice and quiet, even with rooms on either side, never heard the neighbors. It was perfect! We will definitely stay here the next time we visit the coast. Great little gem!

This little gem was the perfect location for my brief weekend getaway. I had everything I needed and wanted for my stay. The bed and linens were comfortable and clean. Parking and check-in were easy. The property was clean and well kept. The location convenient. Will definitely return if ever in the area again!

This is a quiet fun place to stay. Beautiful view. Very clean and well set up. We have a dog and enjoyed a nice walk around the neighborhood. We were greeted upon our arrival and found everyone very helpful and friendly.

Such a nice place! Units are updated and very clean. There was a Christmas light show on the property you could watch and listen to music on an FM radio. It’s about a 5-8 minute walk to restaurants and shopping in Depoe Bay. The units are next to Hwy 101, but you don’t hear the road noise. Pretty quiet area. We will be back!

A great stay! We even had an issue with our sink leaking and all was replaced and fixed very quickly during our two day visit. What great service and communication!

Really great location. Right on Main Street, so you can walk almost everywhere. Free parking was also a plus. It was a very cozy space. Very well stocked with bathroom and kitchen things. This place is pet friendly, which is nice for those traveling with their buddies. But because of that the place smelled of dog, and there was pet fur on the couch and sheets. It was clean otherwise, and we would love to stay there again.

This is a great location, and the place was super-clean and well-stocked with essentials. There was only one house rule, regarding not stinking up the place with fish or crab smells. Things were going swimmingly until I went to bed, when I struggled with a cheap, uncomfortable mattress. The pillows were the firmest I'd ever encountered as well. I appreciated the effort and care the owner clearly puts into their property, but I can't see myself subjecting myself to that mattress again. Which is a shame as Depoe Bay is a great little town to hang out in or use as a base for exploring further along the Oregon coast.

Our stay went well. We (2adults and 2 kids) basically arrived late in the evening and left first thing in the morning, so we didn’t hang out too long. The location was nice and perfect for strolling to restaurants and the harbor. It met all of our needs, but if you use the couch pull out bed, space can be tight, especially with suitcases.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary and we had a great time. Communication from our host was wonderful anytime we had a question. The bed was very comfortable, the place was very clean and we felt right at home :) the shops and food were very close that we could take a walk down or drive if we chose to. We will definitely be coming back next year and I definitely recommend this place if you want a nice and cozy place to stay at for a romantic getaway 😊

After spending 4 days in a Howard Johnston motel in Boise Idaho with free breakfast, heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and a king bed for less money per night it was a little bit of a let down at first but after a while we adjusted and found it quite cozy. The location was GREAT . Walking distance to the main drag { which is only two and half blocks long. We will be back . Gary & Norma

Room is nice, communication was solid and good info to get to property. However there seemed to be missing toilet paper and some issue with a touchy shower faucet. Overall it’s a nice and quaint spot!

We stayed here with our teo kids on our way up the Oregon coast. The location up on the hill is great, and the room was cleaned and came with extra items such as toothbrushes and make up remover. It was great for a family of 4. We walked to town just down the road and had a great dinner. We’d love to come back.

Great location, quiet area. We had everything we needed. It was a great spot to be able to go out driving and return to the room for a relaxing evening.

This was our first AirBNB experience and aside from our unit not looking like the unit pictured, it was very comfortable. The bed was comfy and plenty of pillows was a nice touch. I loved the attention to detail in the bathroom including makeup remover wipes. The only thing that may have made our stay a bit better is including more coffee pods in the room. I’m a coffee drinker and two wasn’t enough. We were able to walk to most places in Depoe Bay so this room is conveniently located. Bill was very responsive to all communication and we wouldn’t hesitate staying again when in the area!!

A charming and comfortable mini apartment. We were comfortable and appreciated being able to travel easily with our dog.

This place was really cute, very clean, walkable to the wale watching area and shops and food. We did have an issue with the tv’s not working, it was an electrical thing but were brought an electrical cord to plug it in elsewhere. The only things that were not perfect, and really the place was great and I do recommend it, were the cleaning products used have a very strong almost floral scent that almost triggered a headache, I opened the windows and the cross breeze cleared it out quickly. I slept on the pull out couch bed and ouch! It was not comfy at all, but it is few and far between that are unless you splurge for the memory foam mattresses, I have one on my couch at home. It was ok for one night but it would have been difficult if it was more. The security lights right outside the door stays on all night so it was pretty bright in the front room where I was sleeping. I do always travel with an eye mask and ear plugs so if you are bothered by light make sure to pack one. Again these are very minor and I would definitely recommend this place for location and price.

Its a nice little place. Everything was clean and tidy. That said, the pics make it look a little bigger than it is. Says it will sleep 4 with 2 on the queen and 2 on the sofa bed. I'd say it's actually best for 2. Would be a great for a quick get away. We stayed over night in prep for a fishing trip the next morning. Will consider it again when fishing out of Depoe Bay.

This a great space for a couple of people. I loved the updated bathroom and all of the nice Bath & Body Works products. Also this place was sparkling clean. Love the location too! Very convenient spot for shopping and restaurants. I also loved the view of the ocean. Can’t beat this place. If I ever find my way back to Depoe Bay I will definitely be staying there again.

Great place, we were coming in late, and leaving early so didn’t really explore the area, but this place is right off the hwy- clean, clean, clean. Well appointed, all that we needed. Rooms are small, we were two people and two dogs. Perfect amount of space!

Lovely cottages near the ocean with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of nice touches such as complimentary tooth brushes and lots of clean towels. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare a simple meal, no stove though. Our unit #5 was decorated slightly different than shown in the pictures. It was still pretty comfortable nonetheless.

This is a very cute little unit the decor is very cute it feels homey. The price was reasonable for the area and space. Will be visiting again! The owners of the unit responded quickly and never had contact with us but made sure we were taken care of.

This small room with kitchenette and pull out couch was the perfect getaway for our family of 5 - us, our 2 dogs and infant son. The view of the beach from the bench outside our window was romantic, and the bathroom and bedroom were stylish and cozy. For anyone with dogs, the quick access to the dog area was perfect, and access to Main Street and the beach was fantastic.

We came mid October and the weather was perfect! Our unit was clean and had everything we could need. Plenty of space to sit, a nice little kitchenette, bathroom was sparkling clean and the bed! The bed was so comfortable! It was quiet and peaceful. Parking was easy. Great halfway point between Newport and Lincoln City. We felt the price was reasonable. We would be happy to stay here again and will suggest it to others.

A cozy cabin looking space

Lovely beach stay in a quaint small town! We were on the road driving down the coast and needed a place where we could both bring our dog and feel comfortable given the pandemic with cleaning procedures. They provided the creature comforts we were looking and several local touches--very happy with our choice.

This place was very clean, easy access right off the 101 with a peak a boo view of the ocean sunset. I especially enjoyed reading the shower curtains inspirational quotes while I showered. The bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water with good water pressure. It was a little small for our family of 4 and all our luggage but we made it work for the one night. I would recommend staying here

Everything was amazing from the moment we arrived! Other then a small ant problem we had an amazing stay.

Our experience at the travelers lodge was very nice. The bed was super comfortable and we slept great. The house is set up very well and had everything you need. My only complaint is that it was a bit more expensive than I felt was fair.

Bill’s was absolutely lovely- we could see the ocean from our porch and had everything we needed for our stay from silverware to toiletries. The space was clean and cushy with lots of coastal charm. Although there was no stove the bbq outside served all of our culinary needs. Thanks, we’ll be back!

It was fine stay for one night. The wifi didnt work, maybe because of storm. Place is clean with a good location. Bill is really good with communication and we asked for early check in and he was nice and switched our unit with another one and allowed us early check in.

The location was great! solid alternative to staying in Lincoln City and/or Newport as the driving distance to both is minimal. Very 'homey' feel to the room and walking distance to local eateries/watering holes. If you want to just get something to go and bring it back to the room then it is stocked with everything you need!
