Siletz Sanctuary

This was an amazing place. Kids and adults loved it. Well thought out in terms of hosting, comfortable furniture/ kitchen/ bathroom/ amenities/ sauna, but the showstopper is the location.

Such a beautiful place to stay! Absolutely loved the massive windows to look out over the river. We had such a good time playing games at the dining table, surrounded by stunning views. We would happily come back for another peaceful stay.

Beautiful, unique home. Wonderfully peaceful setting. We would definitely return. The only reason I can’t give five stars is the cleanliness of the home left a bit to be desired. Overall the home is clean, but significant stains were noted on the couch and a towel, with the floors having animal hair in a few spots. We are very clean people, but we do have pets ourselves, so this was not completely off putting. It just felt like it had not been cleaned well prior to our arrival.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings and very centrally located to visit beaches, restaurants, and site seeing. We awoke every morning to a Great Blue Heron on our river banks.

Beautiful home on the water. Beds were like sleeping on a cloud! Our dog felt welcomed. The sauna was utter bliss. Could have used more wash cloths but there were plenty of towels. I mentioned a few minor repairs needed to the owners and they seemed to welcome the information. Nature abounding at its finest! Price was steep but how often do you get to stay over the water?

Bill and Peggy’s place was stunning. They were fantastic hosts. Very responsive to any issues we had and were able to accommodate with speedy solutions. My family left wanting to come right back.

This place was exactly what I was needing this weekend. Quiet, peaceful, spacious, comfortable, and beautiful surroundings. Wanted a weekend for a digital detox and was perfect. Sauna and huge tub was a definite bonus! Will definitely stay again!

Peggy was quick to get back to me with questions! Her place was so comfortable and everything we needed was available. I especially liked the sauna and the big tub. It was a cold and wet week and we really enjoyed the views. The morning view from the upstairs bedroom was glorious! And such a comfortable room. Everywhere you look you have an amazing view. The place is very quiet and it was a great place for us the just relax. We hope to visit this magical place again hopefully in the summer!

This place truly exceeded our expectations. The views were incredible, and being right on the river, elevated on stilts with water on three sides, made it a unique and memorable property. The home was spotless and felt genuinely luxurious. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything we needed, including an espresso maker, and the bathroom amenities were a standout. Free razors and toothbrushes are something I have never seen provided anywhere else. The hosts were exceptional and responded within five minutes to every message. The gated entry added an extra sense of security and peace of mind. The location is also fantastic, with restaurants, coffee, bars, and entertainment just minutes away while still feeling peaceful and secluded. The only minor issue was a bit of dog hair, but the home is pet friendly and this was clearly advertised. It did not detract from our stay. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

Peaceful surroundings. APP provided was extremely helpful. We LOVED every bit of this retreat allowing us to reset and relax. Prggy and Bill are fantastic hosts and their pride in management shows in every detail.

Wow . . . What a beautiful home for our family Thanksgiving! Due to work schedules, we booked a place for our Thanksgiving get-together later than we were hoping for, and the only homes that were left were in a higher price bracket than what we normally book. Let me tell you - you get what you pay for! The location of this home is gorgeous, and the home itself is lovely! Spacious and airy, thoughtfully & tastefully appointed - very welcoming! The kitchen was spacious enough for all of us to be preparing dishes at the same time. We brought a few essentials for preparing a holiday meal - like our Kitchenaid mixer and our food processor, but were delighted to find plenty of pots, pans, kitchen gear and even a Vita-Mix! The sauna & the upstairs bathtub were used every day and the beds - even the Murphy bed in the living room, were comfortable. Bill & Peggy were very responsive, answering all of our questions. We would happily stay at this beautiful home again!

The house was spotless and there is lots of room to move about. Built on piers the scene from the house is a great view of the river--Can't get any closer without going into the river. All the furnished equipment worked perfectly and the master bedroom shower is the best I have ever had. Only problem was we didn't know how to use the espresso coffee machine. Next visit we will learn. And there will be a next visit.

Two words….THAT VIEW!!!! I would have stayed in a cardboard box to experience the serene surroundings, water, sealife, birds, the fisherman, the sunrise and omg the sunset! And not to mention the stars at night….WOW. There was so much space in this place. I feel like 30 people could stay here and still have room. There were about a million dishes in the place, the pot and pan area could have been a little cleaner and better organized and although there was a coffee pot AND espresso machine we had a hard time using them and ended up going out for coffee (I see in the reviews that other people enjoyed the coffee area so maybe it was just us) The sauna is not to be missed!!! It’s the strange looking dark “closet” in the downstairs bathroom that we overlooked the first 2 days unfortunately, but once we figured out it was there it was an amazing amenity. We appreciated the late check out however It was the first time I’d ever been charged $50 to stay late. But we gladly did it. Mahalo!

Beautiful property directly on the river that flows into the ocean. Views from every window. Watch the sun rise up river and set over the ocean. The living space is large and open. Kitchen is easy to work in. Large dining table. Beds very comfortable with plenty of pillow choices. Upstairs bed room is huge, private and has a beautiful bathroom including a rain shower and a soaker tub. Watch the stars thru the skylights. Downstairs bedroom large and comfortable. This en suite has a shower and a full sized sauna that could fit 6+. Downstairs also has a 1/2 bath very convenient! In the living room is a Murphy bed if you need another bed. Nice laundry room. Best to arrive in the daylight if possible as drive is tucked away. Plenty of parking for 2-3 vehicles, turning around is tricky but doable. We enjoyed the area and towns in both directions on the highway. Close to many beaches. It was difficult leaving this beautiful restful property. We loved it and plan to return and stay longer!

What a fabulous place, felt like you were staying on a boat since you are partly “in the river” and at a beautiful spot on the river. We were visited by a family of otters, so fun to watch. The salmon were running so lots of activity on the river. The house is so well done and has everything you could possibly need. Would recommend staying here for sure and hope to come back again.

This is a special place. We loved looking out at the river as it changed with the tides, watching blue heron, white egrets and seals throughout the day and sunsets from the wonderful deck. The house has historical charm mixed with modern amenities, and is spacious, open and bright. The hosts were communicative and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Phenomenal views!!!! Our favorite part of the morning was sitting on the balcony watching the boats go by and the birds diving for fish. Overall, the place was clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. My suggestion would be to add a Keurig for those who might be in a hurry for a quick cup of coffee. The coffee area as well as the coffee machines were not very clean and the range was a bit greasy. The downstairs master bathroom had a stale unpleasant odor. The beds were very comfy in both bedrooms. Upstairs loft area was nicely decorated, spacious, and we really enjoyed sleeping under the skylights. The upstairs master bathroom is beautifully redecorated. We came here to rest, relax, and unwind and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. If you are looking for a place with absolutely amazing views, then this is your place!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house isn’t walkable but centrally located for many activities and restaurants. Amazing view and we really enjoyed the dock.

We really enjoyed our stay! The view was beautiful and helped us truly relax. We didn’t know we needed to bird watch but bird watching throughout the day turned out to be a highlight. We enjoyed the sauna. Communication with property management team was very smooth throughout our stay. They responded immediately to our initial WiFi issue and helped us resolve it. We rented double kayaks for our family of four and had an adventurous trip in the Siletz River. Overall, an amazing trip. We hope to return and stay here again.

Truly a treasure that was painful to leave. (Eagles, seals, vultures and morning on the river is its own glory) Even sitting on the porch is exciting. As soon as you put away the binoculars you’ll be grabbing them again. Just loved. Special memories created.

I needed a relaxing day wmaway from home and holy smokes this place delivered. I will be staying here again and probably an extended stay. Couldnt believe how cool this place was.

This is one of the most beautiful airbnb homes we have had the pleasure of visiting! So private and peaceful with huge windows everywhere overlooking the river . The sauna was such a bonus in the June rain ! Comfy comfy beds and couch.

Beautiful property, stunning views

Absolutely stunning location. It was so peaceful to have a cup of coffee on the porch looking out over the water in the morning. Great kitchen for cooking and open floor plan that worked well for six adults. Kayaks were available with a boat launch down the road but know that there is not direct water access from the home. Great restaurants and beach access within close driving distance. Impressive home that I would stay at again. Loved that it was dog friendly too!

Thanks to the hosts for making such a great rental available. We so enjoyed staying on the Siletz and driving upriver one day, too, to see the house used in the filming of Ken Kesey’s “Sometimes A Great Notion” film. What a delight that was! Altogether, we had a wonderful stay, loved having so much space and the amazing views, and we look forward to returning sometime. Highly recommended.

Just book it! Beautiful home with a stunning view. Not walkable, but very close to all the necessities. Well above average for AirBnB as far as amenities and furnishings. The sauna was a bonus! We loved our stay here!

It was 5 stars and you wish your place at home had all the same things, beautiful view, serene setting, sauna, large living room and kitchen area. It was so fun to stay there and be spoiled!!

The house was well equipped with great accommodations like binoculars and extra pillows and blankets. Pet friendly with high feeder and removable bed and sofa covers for a great nap with our fur friend. The location was perfect for our trip! The surrounding areas are incredible and peaceful. Watching the tide going up and down while staying in the middle of the delta (nice deck) was amazing with bird watching opportunities. We also saw an otter when the tide was low. The sauna was a PERFECT addition! The espresso machine made the mornings extra enjoyable. Great spot, helpful tenants and comfortable rental overall. Our family had a special time while staying here. Exactly as advertised, plus! Quiet, beautiful, calming, spacious. For those that love relaxation, the sauna and the upstairs open shower were exceptional! A perfect private, serene getaway.

Beautiful place, we could sit on the balcony all day and watch the river. There is a Otter that comes out from underneath the house that is always a treat to watch. 7am wake up from two delinquent teenage seagulls, one keeps watch while the other one bangs on the kitchen window. When you come out to see what the noise is they both spread their wings and make some kind of gesture at you then fly away. Then as soon as you leave they come back and do it all over again. We found that to be quite humorous, lol.

A wonderful place, comfortable beds. Well thought out items through out. Lighting a bit bright. Bathrooms nice. Kitchen nice to use. Kitchen table was so perfect. Porch was a amazing. Door lock and gate, easy too use. All the stuff for the dog was so comforting, a bed, food, and Dog dishes. Really good pair of binoculars for bird watching. It was just what we needed for a low key vacation.

Upon arrival, our family knew we were in for something special. This home is truly an escape into tranquility and relaxation. We have been coming down to the Gleneden Beach area for over 20 years, and whilst we have stayed at some magnificent homes, the surrounding beauty of nature always topped any interior. This time, however, it was a tie- the house is so well designed, offers plenty of space, and never allows you to be without a view of the gorgeous world just outside your door. It truly is a breathtaking location. One of my sons is a cellist and lamented that he didn't bring his cello with him, as the acoustics and environs are such in keeping with any soul-stirring concerto. We did a lot of cooking and baking, and found the kitchen well-equipped for cooking tools (we did bring our KitchenAid mixer). All of the rooms are thoughtfully designed, uncluttered, stylish, and comfy. We didn't use the sauna- ah well, guess we'll have to come back! Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful stay at Pacific View Lodging. The house is beautiful and located right on the river. We saw otters, seals, herons and many other water birds. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and the mattresses were very comfortable. Wi-Fi worked great and Bluetooth was available too. It just seemed like the owners thought of everything....we even put two puzzles together while we were there. This was a wonderful place to spend with family and friends.

This riverside retreat was peaceful and felt like home. We really enjoyed watching the salmon jumping, the sea lions swimming and all the wild life from the cozy open living room. The sauna was one of the highlights of our stay. We loved our stay and would love to book in the future.

Lovely location and abode. We will definitely be back for longer. The sauna made it extra special for some Spa time, the back deck cant be beat. The kitchen was better stocked than many Airbnbs for a group that does a lot of cooking.

This place was amazing. Great A+ location and views. The sunsets , and sunrises are absolutely the best. We watched all the boats go by all day off the huge porch and got to see tons of wildlife as well, Heron and seals among our favorites. Our room was super big and overall very spacious throughout. In fact the home was much bigger than expected and very private feeling. Our favorite treat was the sauna. Big, and extra warm. We would definitely stay here again. Don’t hesitate to book this place.

My husband and I loved our stay here . The home was beautiful and being able to watch the wildlife and fishermen was really enjoyable. We went hiking ul to the Suspension Bridge and went to the Devil's Punch bowl. We will definitely be back.

A fanatics spot right on a tidal river. A large cean and uncluttered house with modern furniture. However the bathrooms are a little dated. Better than the pictures. This is one of many managed properties rather than someone's house. But still beautiful.

My husband and I loved our stay here . The home was beautiful and being able to watch the wildlife and fishermen was really enjoyable. We couldn’t stand it so we rented a Boat and I caught a 19 pounds Chinook . We will definitely be back.

Beautiful house on the water. Great location. Short drive to shops, restaurants and galleries. The only critique would be that it's not walking friendly. No walking paths or trails around. Still, the views of the river and bay more than made up for it. Would highly recommend it and would go back.

This was a true retreat. With a location right on the stiletz river, including wild greenspace on the opposing bank, this was a peaceful escape. The windows were incredible, with easy to use coverings that showed the river at it's best and let in so much light. Comfortable beds, even the murphy tucked in the wall cupboard was nice. The kitchen was lovely, nice range, nice fridge and nice microwave. We loved the coffee setup around the corner and I steamed my creamer for my morning coffee. It was a well stocked kitchen. We appreciated the sauna in the bathroom, making it feel a luxury experience. The location is nice, easy drive to Lincoln city and the pelican brewery is around the corner. It's so quiet at the house, easy to sleep well. Thanks for sharing your exceptional home, there were no drawbacks and this really is a 5 star place.

This house is amazing and we didn't want to leave. Felt right at home and like we were a dream vacation home. The view was amazing, the amenities were fantastic and the town is great. They have a sauna you can use and even kayaks to take out on the river!

Great location, beautiful home! Would absolutely stay here again - the location is magical. Only minor complaint is that the upstairs bedroom has skylights that let in a lot of light which are great for daytime, not so great for nighttime. Sunrise was around 5:30am during our stay so the kids didn't get enough sleep and there was no way to block out the light. Other than that, no complaints.

We wanted a place that symbolized the culmination of our oldest son's graduation from Oregon State University. He worked incredibly hard the last four years and deserved a unique and peaceful experience. Thank you, Bill and Peggy, for helping us make that come true.

What a great place! Outside was just great, really nice deck right on the water. Inside was even better! Recently remodeled with exceptional kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom areas. Close to many attractions. Our family had a great stay and a perfect home base to explore the area!

This home is absolutely incredible!! So peaceful and just gorgeous. The water is amazing and we saw lots of wildlife. Got to see two sea lions and tons of birds of all different kinds. The home itself was spotless and the beds were really comfortable. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

We loved our stay and can't wait to stay again in the future! Had an issue getting into the garage, called the number from our emails and Peggy answered right away and stayed on the phone while we got it figured out. We wanted to use the grill for our sausages and it looked brand new! We also wanted to try out the kayaks in the garage. The house was gorgeous, spacious, and very clean, minus a few stains on rugs/carpets. We will definitely stay again!

This stay was incredible during both rain and/or shine! It was clean and comfortable, with lots of opportunities to watch all of the incredible wildlife right off the deck. We saw a family of otters swimming up river on the first day! As a gardener I must also compliment the beautiful and well tended to gardens. They were also extremely thoughtful with pet amenities and had lots of board games and indoor entertainment for the rainy days. We loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return! Thank you Peggy & Bill for a super unique experience on the coast!

Spent four nights here with a friend for a writing retreat and it was absolutely perfect! Comfy beds, spacious layout, and a well-equipped kitchen made our stay quite enjoyable. And the location!!! There is nothing like watching seals heading out with the tides and river otters frolicking farther upriver from the back deck. And so many birds - blue herons, osprey, cormorants, and many many more. It’s also close (5-15 min) to Lincoln City and beaches, so you have the best of both worlds. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place!

This was a beautiful home to stay in! We were surrounded with peaceful water and mountains! It was like having our own little private getaway on the river. They think of everything you could need while you're there, it's really well stocked with little amenities and even extras to help make your pet friend feel at home. There is a little grassy spot right outside the gate to take your dog potty, so even though there's no lawn on the property there is still an easily accessible spot for your pet! This was an incredible birthday weekend, thank you so much! We will likely be back again soon. 😊

What an amazing place on the river near the coast! The photos don’t even do it justice. For us, a perfect cozy retreat for reading and sipping tea and watching the river and then going out for day hikes. Highly recommend! Great hosts.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, Bill and Peggy! It was a perfect mix of convenience and isolation with breathtaking views. The home was very clean and had everything we could ask for and more. The kitchen was plenty well-equipped to enjoy a large, traditional Guatemalan dinner as well as a large, traditional US breakfast. A flood of natural light made us feel incredible, especially in the upstairs. Communication from the hosts was timely and with all the information we needed. Our elementary aged children are all asking if we can live there forever.

This house is so amazing. Like a houseboat on stilts. Comfy furniture (great huge couch with an amazing view, very comfortable beds). Easy to get to anything along the coast but feels private and tucked away on the river. We would love to stay here again and will keep it on our favorites list.

The views were gorgeous. From watching the weather on the river to listening to birds and sleeping to the sound of rain on the roof, this very clean and lovely home has it all! We felt safe, secure and comfortable. Everyone said their bed was great and morning espresso was a huge treat. Easy access to the highway, driving up and down the coast seeing beaches, a lighthouse and watching waves spray the cars in Depot Bay. Our ladies get away was a success. The gate & home access codes were easy, wifi was strong enough for our use and we used the nicely equipped kitchen for lots of cooking. We would come again.

We never wanted to leave the home! Such a magical experience - watching from our balcony the salmon jump, herons, sea otters, herons! The fisherman were so friendly, many saying we had the best view (and we agreed). We never lacked for anything - ever amenity you could imagine was available. The kitchen was better stocked than my own. We went to the local fish market to purchase meals to make at “home.” Perfect location - literally minutes from town. I cannot recommend this dream home enough!

We were expecting a relaxing and peaceful time and this place delivered big time! The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. The setting was so relaxing and peaceful that I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet and peaceful getaway.

The view is what sold me. Unique rental surrounded by water on 3 sides on a quiet stretch of river, near the ocean. So serene to watch the birds in the rain. The bed was comfortable and the sauna and shower in the master bath were fantastic also. This would make a nice getaway spot for two couples as the upstairs bedroom is like a whole other master with its own bathroom and large sitting area (no sauna, though 😉). I wish we could've stayed for longer.

Pacific View Lodging was perfect!!! It was close to city center and ocean beaches but felt like we were in a very remote area. The house was amazing with lots of room for our family. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable and the house was clean. Lots of towels and blankets were provided and there was even a comfy pet bed for our fur baby. We had everything needed to cook our meals and snacks. We had a great time watching a movie and playing with the games. Most of all we enjoyed just relaxing and apprecIated the view from the many windows and wrap around deck. We loved watching the birds and seals throughout the day. It was truly a wonderful stay!

Wonderful place to stay! Right on the Siletz river with wonderful views. The house is very comfy and clean, private gated driveway which is shared with another house. The neighbors are friendly and helpful with suggestions about the area. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking with modern appliances. Beds and bedding are top notch. very nice place. only a few issues. the washing machine did not work, and there was no advance notice of this. the entry code to the garage did not work, despite several tries. there was no description that the gate remote was located in the box next to the doorway. the remote is a fob at the bottom ledge of that wall mounted box at the right as you are looking at the door from the hallway. the house was amazing and the location was great as you are on the water. the live edge veranda planking was awesome. we ourselves live on the water and my wife simply wanted to tear down our house and copy the layout of this place.

This place is by far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at. It was well stocked with everything you possibly needed. Waking up next to the water was the best thing. Husband enjoyed the coffee machine throughout the stay.

Gorgeous property. Possibly the most well stocked airbnb I've ever stayed at. All the pictures of the home are accurate and the upstairs is a crazy bright space. Gorgeous views from the deck to watch the wildlife, and just far enough out of the city and blocked from the lights that you can even sit out and enjoy the stars at night. Close to lots of great easy food on the south end of Lincoln City, like Salishan, Otis Cafe and The Pines Dine food carts. Easy drive to Depoe bay and Newport. This trip was to share the Oregon coast with some friends from the midwest, and it was perfect for that - would gladly stay again.

We wished we could have stayed longer! We will be back. We did notice that the garbage disposal is either very quiet, or may need to be looked at. Blades turning and sharp, but much quieter than we are used to=)

Amazing, beautiful house; very scenic location right along the river where we could sit at breakfast and watch for seals, egrets and herons as the ride rolled in/out. The bridge for 101 was visible but we didn’t mind, and we didn’t hear the sound much from inside. Home was very tastefully decorated with all new furnishings. Huge upstairs room with views from the King bed. Loved the sauna—our girls loved it too.

This home is in a beautiful setting right on the water, and it is designed to help you enjoy the remarkable views with tall windows and lovely places to sit both indoors and on the deck. It is very thoughtfully put together, with every spot from the dining table to the couch to the master bedroom set up to help you enjoy the home as well as the location. The house is wonderfully furnished, with a great kitchen and very comfortable living room and bedrooms. The hosts set great information in advance that made arrival, using the house, and check out all very smooth. All around a wonderful place to stay!!

Bill and Peggy’s home is even more beautiful than the photos. We loved the wrap around porch. Whether you’re at the kitchen or on the couch, you’ll have a panoramic view of the water. We were visited by a seagull who we named Joey ha! Also saw a few Herons across the way. The upstairs room is spacious with many options to sleep. The sauna was a plus! Nice warm way to wind down after walking along the water. Great place for a weekend getaway but also family friendly- lots of options for children. I would stay here again and I will be recommending this home to friends! ❤️ oh and! We asked Peggy for an early check in- and we got it! Such a blessing as I wanted to decorate before the birthday girl arrived ❤️

Peaceful property with a stunning view. Loved having coffee (made with their Breville!!) on the deck each morning using the provided binoculars to look for birds and other wildlife. Bed was comfy, water pressure in the shower was awesome and the sauna was a nice bonus. I thought I’d regret not staying on the beach, but after staying here, I’m very happy with my decision.

Absolutely the best part of our trip. We really loved every aspect of our stay at Siletz Sanctuary. The easy check in, the whole lay out of the house and THE VIEWS! Binoculars for bird watching, a wonderful well stocked kitchen and bonus sauna. The house was spotless and we appreciated the ability to use their washer and dryer after 9 days on the road. Bill and Peggy were always quick to respond to our questions. We can’t stop raving about how awesome their air b n b was! Stop scrolling and book Siletz Sanctuary it’s even better in person.

Wonderful location. Very quiet. Home is beautiful! Only issue was we couldn’t control thermostat, it kept changing back to set temperature and we were so warm. We kept doors and windows open, even at night. Also thermostat was locked and we could set to A/C. Other than that home was great.

Peaceful and relaxing setting with amazing view of the river and wetland area. Bright interior with lots a seating space for relaxing and eating. Lots of little extras such as a scrabble game corner and bird watching books and equipment.

We loved our stay in this beautiful home along the Siletz River! There is a National Refuge right across the river and the bird watching was wonderful. We really loved all the windows and the great deck. Both bedrooms have comfortable king size beds. The location is great for going into both Lincoln City and Depoe Bay. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing time at the coast.

This home met and exceeded expectations! It had amazing views and wildlife, close to town but far enough away that it was very peaceful. This was a much needed vacation for my family. They even provided a dog bed and food and water bowls to make the pups feel at home. Will definitely book again!!

Wow! This was most spectacular airbnb we have ever stayed in! The house is absokitely gorgeous. Every room glows with natural light. All the furniture and beds are extremely comfortable. The showers are fantastic and the sauna, a dream. But the best feature is the stunning setting. The house is ON the water. We saw so many birds and river otters. It was fascinating! Thank you for providing binoculars and the bird ID guide. My daughter and I had so much fun bird watching. By theway, I am sorry for taking your coffee filters! They are the same brand as the ones I packed. Awesome house!!! Great hosts! Amazing experience!!

This place was better than we expected. Private peaceful yet close to town. The view from inside the home made you feel like you were on a massive boat. The sauna was amazing. The beds were to comfortable you didn’t want to get up. The coffee bar was fun every morning. The kitchen is really fun to cook in. We will be back.

This is such a unique location with lots of cool history. Close off the highway, yet the place had a real feeling of privacy being over the water and across from the nature reserve. Easy access to all the businesses in both Depoe Bay and Lincoln City.

Bills place was absolutely amazing! The sauna the view, and the amenities were all of amazing and even better than the pictures! It’s extremely quiet and peaceful with beautiful views even of seals coming up the river! There’s also an amazing yoga center called Luminosity very close by that was amazing. This house is beautiful! Over the water, the views from every window! Open floor plan, so many extras that you find you need away from home. What a getaway and so fun to watch the river life. Kayaks too! Thank you so much for this home away from home!!

We cannot recommend this space highly enough! The home is immaculate. The design and decor are breathtaking. The location is unbelievable. With water surrounding us on three sides we felt as if we were staying on a luxury yacht. The layout allowed for perfect gathering opportunities and totally private bedroom suites. The sauna and tub punctuated the spa experience perfectly. We were treated to a regular show from the birds and the water and the clouds. We wound up cooking most meals and having take out for the rest because the kitchen offers the best table in Lincoln City. We are excited to return!

Our 1st night was quite a show put on by 3 otters who sat and groomed themselves on the stringer at the house. What a great start! Also saw seals, sea lions, herons and plenty of ducks. Clamming was right across the road and we ate well! We will be back!

It is hard to say everything in this space that could be said about this lovely house on the Siletz. Do not come here if you want anxiety or no peace or to not relax. This house is made for relaxation. It is made for bird watching and long sitting on the deck. To wake up with the water all around and to fall asleep with the sigh of trees and song of wrens is fantastic. The house is perfectly appointed, not cluttered, space that reflects the space outside. Every single detail is thought of. Binoculars for birdwatching, games, every kitchen staple needed, cozy beds, plenty of blankets and the warm, warm sauna after an afternoon or evening of beachcombing. We thought we would go to town a lot, thought we would eat out often, but no. We wanted to be at the house. Picked up dinners, filled the fridge, spent mornings with coffee (the coffee bar is amazing) looking out at the river, the birds, the refuge beyond. And, for a closer look, there are kayaks. Seriously, this is a vacation home.

This property was a dream to stay in. Lincoln City is my family’s go-to beach town and I hope to stay here many times in the future as well as recommend it to anyone I know. From sunrise in the morning, to the bright stars at night, this home is so special and feels like a retreat if you need to get away. The beds are so so cozy, and you should plan your meals “at home” because the kitchen is so fun to cook in! The view was the best part, watching the “river” (which was so calm you almost couldn’t tell it was moving) as well as the birds and otters on the water. I’ll never forget staying here!

Fabulous time had by all. The house was very comfortable, clean and well located. Great views of the river and all that floated down and up it during the radical tides (full moon) and storm water runoff. Lots of water fowl to watch, as well as the resident kingfisher. Thanks for providing binos for bird watching. The house is well appointed, with most everything you need. The sauna was an extra treat and warmed us right up after a freezing day playing golf up at Chinook Winds in Lincoln City. We'll be back, for sure.

This was a wonderful stay. The property is very nice and the nature around is very pretty. Lots of birds flying around the decks. The only thing that wasn’t clear to me ahead of time is that you can not put the kayaks in the water from the property. There is a boat ramp a few miles up the road. This did not detract from the stay, it was all still 5 stars but just fyi. If we ever come back to Lincoln City we hope to stay here!

This is a real gem. The home is laid out with a lovely open format and everywhere you look you can see the river. My husband and I sat for hours just watching all the wildlife - up close and personal - kingfisher, blue heron, deer and a seal. This is a really lovely place. Comfortable beds - spacious.

Excellent place to stay!

So much wildlife, it was a joy to watch the great blue herons, the egrets, and the seals. Clean house that had everything you could want, including a Wi-Fi printer in case you have to do some work. Kitchen had everything including a meat thermometer, all the pots and pans you could imagine and a coffee bar with espresso machine, and drip coffee maker. Neighbors were very quiet. Close to the south end of Lincoln City. Definitely will stay again.

We only stayed one night and wished we could stay more:( this is unique lovey places! It was clean, accurate to description and well equipped to what you need for your stay

Our only negatives are that we could not get down to the river, it appears in the pictures that we could, and wade over to the dock but it is just to muddy & deep, and the dock belongs to the neighbor. We had to clean off a bunch of bird poop from all the outdoor furniture (which is very nice furniture) We just laid them on their sides which worked. NO CELL SERVICE, at least with US Cellular, had to drive to town to get service. A couple of suggestions is to make note of this in the house descriptions; and have instructions on how to work the three remotes for the TV and what they are for or do. NOW it is pet friendly, they even have a dog bed, and dishes! Also lots of dog food, but we always bring our own, very well stocked, the frig is an ice maker, best of all Bill is a fantastic host.

This place is amazing. It is quiet and it was pet friendly. Loved the sauna .. great after hiking! You will not regret staying here. Communication was awesome as well.

This place is the best appointed AirBnB I’ve ever stayed at. The kitchen was just amazing; great pans, gas stove, espresso maker & grinder, lots of high quality accessories and a larder stocked things you take for granted (spices, flours, Worcestershire, ketchup, salad dressing, etc) Decor is really nice. The owners clearly have created this space for themselves to enjoy so attention to lots of little details are apparent and the layout reflects that. The location is really beautiful. It’s closer to the main road than I had assumed, but traffic dies down in the evening and we never were disturbed. The river is beautiful and you see lots of seals, otters waterfowl and seabirds. It’s a popular fishing area on the weekends but just during the day Highly recommended

OMGoodness! What a view! This place was very comfortable with a spacious open floor plan, high end furnishings and comfortable beds. Perfect in every way for our party of 3 adults. Looking forward to next visit already!
