The Tranquility Cove - Depoe Bay

We loved staying at The Tranquility Cove. It’s easy to navigate right off highway 101, clear views, sounds of the ocean waves from the unit and even better while sitting on the deck enjoying a cocktail. It had private parking and your own personal attached garage (I own a medium sized SUV crossover & had plenty of space within the garage). The unit was squeaky clean and smelled freshly clean. Bed lines were melty soft and clean smelling along with a comfy king mattress. The queen bed was just as wonderful! I’m a sucker for a great comfy bed like my own home and this place hits the spot! Bathrooms are super clean, functional, & good hot water. Staying here puts you in a good center location to explore a lot of what the coast has to offer. You are walking distance to downtown Depoe Bay shops, restaurants, & whale watching. A quick 10 min drive north on 101 to Lincoln City, make sure to check out the local food truck hub there if you like some good sushi 🍱 🍣. Ty Bill & Peggy!

Directions were easy to access unit, beautiful unit, great amenities and very thoughtful of making it comfortable in everway.

Our stay was simply wonderful. The attention to detail is amazing. It was extremely clean. The view is beautiful. Actually the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s just really beautiful and comfortable and makes you feel like you’re at home. We definitely will be back hopefully sooner than later. Thanks again Bill and Peggy.

Easy, no-fuss check-in was nice. Good location & everything was well maintained. Perfect for a short weekend getaway or if you’re looking to do some whale watching. Loved the amenities and how clean the place was, too!

Such a beautiful and cozy space! It was perfect for our girls getaway weekend! We felt welcomed from the time we stepped inside. Bill and Peggy are amazing hosts and have thought of everything you’ll need to make your experience memorable and relaxing. I definitely recommend this property for your next visit to Depoe Bay.

One or two nights in a hotel are fine, but for longer stays we prefer something more homey. Tranquil Cove felt like being in a private home with all the things you expect in a private home, starting with comfortable furniture, a well appointed kitchen, and great decor! There was one small maintenance issue that was taken care of in less than an hour from the time we contacted Bill and Peggy! We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our two day visit! We appointed space close to everything Depoe Bay has to appreciate. We will definitely look at availability on a future visit to the area.

This is one of the nicest Airbnbs my wife and I have ever stayed in. It is very well-stocked and comfortable and located in a great location. It has a really nice coffee/tea bar, among its many amenities. The beds were very comfortable. Although it faces US 101, we did not hear much outside noise at any time. There are many enjoyable things to do and see in and around Depoe Bay, home to several gray whales at this time of year. We were delighted to see a number of the whales on a whale watch right outside the bay. Bill and Peggy communicated promptly and clearly at all times, and having the app they provided after booking was very helpful. The only drawback for us was that we could not stay longer since we were on an 18-day trip around the state.

Loved everything!

Had a wonderful stay at Tranquility Cove; wonderfully comfortable reclining furniture for 4 people, very comfortable beds, had everything we needed and more. Adequate and easy to follow instructions, beautifully decorated space. We were two couples who really appreciated the extra effort to provide comfort, ie air conditioners and fans in every room, really nice balcony furniture, garage with room for two cars (if needed), an EV charger (sold it for us), coffee provided in the kitchen, laundry tablets and dryer sheets, even bandaids, toothbrush, razors and make up remover cloths in the bathrooms along with good quality shampoo/conditioner/body lotion. Top notch place, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Cleaning crew even let us know we had left earbuds in the bedroom and offered to mail them to us. Big thanks to Bill and Peggy - great place and great customer service.

We really enjoyed this very clean and beautiful place. The beds were comfortable and the use of a private garage was great. We were so lucky to get to be in this beautiful seaside village while the whales were migrating! I would highly recommend this rental .

Very clean, cute and comfortable. We needed a place to stay for a couple of nights to extend our stay following a week in our fractional ownership timeshare unit. This unit was very close, had a view of the ocean and was reasonably priced. We are glad we chose to stay there and would definitely consider staying there again if we needed to extend our stay in Depoe Bay.

We absolutely loved this stay! Unfortunately we were only passing through and staying one night but boy do we regret it. This Airbnb was in the perfect location and had everything you could ever think you needed. It was so so cozy. We definitely plan on staying here again someday!

First time vacationing in the PNW and the coast is the place to stay. This bnb is close to coffee, food and beach. The views are also incredible.

The home was so cozy and absolutely beautiful. It was decorated to make you feel like you’re right on the beach. The view from the patio was stunning. It was located near lots of restaurants and great places to have fun. I highly recommend this property!!!

The hosts thought of everything we may have needed and had it in the most obvious spot and labeled! It was honestly like going to visit a house your grandmother had set up just for your visit. Extra razors, and make up wipes, and coffee, and creamer. They thought of EVERYTHING. It was like walking into a hug. The entire condo was spotless and I would not have been surprised to find out we were the first guests - it was like brand new!

The unit was immaculately furnished with a great beach vibe! The kitchen had every utensil you could imagine you might need. It was so comfortable .... quality everything. Thanks for a great stay at the beach, Bill and Peggy. We will return!

Elegant views and homey environment!

This was one of the nicest and most comfortable Airbnb places we have stayed over the years. It is very well decorated and extremely comfortable. We can’t wait to come back to visit and will bring / refer family and friends.

Great place to stay in Depoe Bay, felt right at home and loved the open floor plan. Beds were comfortable and each room has its own temperature control. Garage was very convenient and fit our mid-sized pickup truck with about 1” to spare! We only stayed one night but definitely staying here again when we need 2bed/2bath. Highly recommended!

Tranquility Cove was all we hoped it would be and more: great space, very clean, and appropriately located for us. Dare I say, it looked better in person than it did in photos. We came with our two teenage children and there was plenty of space for us all. We walked into Depoe Bay, enjoyed potato tornadoes at The Sticks, checked out The World's Smallest Harbor, and viewed the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Perhaps because we are accustomed to the quiet of our home, the noise from the road was kind of jarring. This is really only an issue in sitting in the living room or dining room. It was not loud enough to wake or disturb us once we went to sleep, just something to note if you are noise-sensitive. I would still stay and hope to again in the future.
