I messed up our reservation dates and Bill and Peggy were super helpful and flexible. Thank you for hosting us! We also appreciated how they went above and beyond by providing extra bathroom essentials not found in most places like a razor, toothbrush, and makeup wipes. Great place to stay!

Great place to stay in Depoe Bay! Perfect for our girls trip trio. We loved the house and there is great shopping in Depoe Bay and in Lincoln City, which is only about 10 minutes away. Thank you so much for hosting us, Bill and Peggy! This girls trip has been a dream of mine for a while and you provided us with the perfect lodging.

Great location and good host

We stayed a couple of times and each was excellent. It was nice to have the option to bring our dog and still have a very clean place to stay. It's close to walking trails and all the amenities Depoe Bay has to offer.

We are really glad to have found they own a couple different properties! The attention to detail is fantastic.

The rules are sent to you electronically right before check in. We had poor to no service most of the time on our trip so these were unable to be seen until right before check in. The directions/gps took us next door. The unit was very clean but the detergent/fabric softener used on the blanket and sheets was so strong it irritated my skin & had a very strong odor. I ended up not using the top sheet & blanket because of this. The trash instructions also were not clear. It states you are to remove any trash or you’ll be charged an additional fee. There were no instructions on where trash bins were so we took our trash with us. The cleaning fee should include removal of trash. The unit is dated, noticeable signs of rot, deterioration and torn wallpaper was visible but did not enough to make me not want to stay there. The unit was very clean & it served its purpose as a place to rest on my way to my next stop. The hosts are great with communication aside from the trash instructions.

Great place!! Loved everything about it! Can't wait to stay again! Place had everything we could possibly need! Beds were very comfortable. The only suggestion would be non slip mats under the rugs so that us older folks don't trip on them - they slipped all over the place. Look forward to our next visit.

Loved looking at all of the old photos on the walls, showing the history of the place! It was also a joy to step outside and be able to hear the whales calling 🩷 if it wasn’t raining, we would have left the windows open to enjoy that sound throughout the night!

We stayed 2 nights and our 2 bedroom cabin was charming and delightful! It had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the ceiling fans. It was super nice to be able to bring our doggie with us too. We were within walking distance to all the cute shops, including a coffee shop and restaurants. Plus there was a whale observatory within walking distance and we got to see a whale! Highly recommend this place.

It was conveniently located to downtown. But preferred to drive over to downtown. Busy road/bridge to walk on. The unit sleep 4 adults without any problems.

We stayed one night at Pacific View and it was everything we had expected. Reminded me of lake cabins of my youth. The place was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. The location was great – we could have walked to the cute little Main Street with stores and restaurants. I would stay here if I came back to the area.

Cute little cabin in a really good, central location. Love that it’s across the street from a really good breakfast spot. Kitchen is small but adequate, beds were comfy, and the place was clean. Parking was easy and so was accessing the property. My only “gripe” is that it would have been nice if there was complimentary coffee and coffee maker :) But thats it, well worth the price!

For the price point this was a good enough place. We were delighted to stay in the heart of Depoe Bay. I would have to say that the listing pictures were misleading as the place is showing its age and very small and it wasn’t the cleanest, but like I said we were glad for the location and price.

The location was central to both Lincoln City and Newport. There was a lot to do within 30 minutes. The room was clean and quiet. Check-in and check-out were easy.

Didn’t have super high expectations for the price, came into town for one night to go fishing. Was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door. Felt clean, somewhat modern, more supplies then most Airbnb offer. We were not really there terribly long, but was perfect for what we needed. We will be back.

The place we stayed at was in a calm area with no loud neighbors and a safe area. All of the rooms were clean and exactly as described/photographed. The place was the perfect size for the three of us that stayed.

I found this place in 2020 and ever since I always come back. Super nice people, easy, good communication. I once booked 2 places in the same weekend and they made sure I meant to do so... lol, which I didn't, so I was very grateful they reached out. Ill be coming back again.

What’s a beautiful spot I could hear the whales calling throughout the night and day. It was a beautiful day and night really enjoyed staying here would come back again.

Our room was perfect! Girls trip was wonderful thanks to our great space. It was comfy, cozy and checked all the boxes for us. Beds were comfortable, which is a big deal for us. And they provided special towels for sandy wet feet/shoes and special blankets to use if you bring your pets. Will stay there again.

It’s a nice little place and the care the owners and staff put into it is obvious. Very clean, cute bird feeders and birds all around, and prompt communication. The house keeper was charming and helpful. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfy. My one note is that the shower was pretty old and needs to be replaced, but other than that, it was all lovely.

We only stayed one night, but this would be a great place to stay longer! Easy walk across the harbor bridge into the cute little downtown, only a couple minutes from the lodging. Very clean - hard to believe it’s pet friendly because it’s spotless! We did not bring a dog but lots of towels specifically for cleaning dogs off were provided. Comfortable kitchen, sitting area, comfy beds, great communication - zero complaints! This is right on the highway but once inside we were not bothered by any highway noise. This place was great value and we would definitely stay again! Thanks!

We really loved the location, the ability to walk right into town so quick. We could tell Peggy and Bill work hard to keep the place running, clean and stocked. Plan on returning next year, but will opt for a larger unit this time with a larger shower! Really liked the place and can't beat the price!

Very cute roadside motel feel, the space was nice. There was quite a bit of dirtiness that severely aggravated my asthmatic son's breathing, which was the main downer to this visit. The beds were a bit too soft for my taste, but that's personal opinion. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, and in general we really enjoyed ourselves. I don't know that we will be back because of the cleanliness issue, but for non asthmatic people, it's a really cute place.

This place was absolutely perfect. It was just me and my boyfriend for one night and we loved that they gave recommendations in the airbnb cause we had no clue what to get for dinner. The neighbors were a little loud but that's not the owners fault! Parking can be a tad challenging but it's not too hard! Overall a fantastic place.

My friends and I stayed a night at Bill and Peggy’s Trollers Lodge and it was wonderful! We loved the space and it was clean, had all sorts of amenities in the rooms, vending machines outside, easy to find, and beautiful area! We plan on returning the next time we’re in the area!

We thought the price point matched the accommodations for a mid September stay. The small apartment was very neat and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again in low season.

My family and I had a great experience here. Bill and Peggy and Airbnb communicated both in email and text messages. They were very accurate with their description. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the place. I was able to prepare dinner and breakfast. The place was clean and we are very grateful for things provided that we were able to use the place just like our home.

place was comfortable, linen for the dogs was perfect, the pressure of the water in the shower was slow. it was pricey but, idk how much this app takes on commission.

Bill and Diane who take care of the place are so sweet and welcoming. They became part of our family. We will be back. They we so sweet to our puppy Rio. They both made our stay even more like home.

The place is great and close by lots of awesome places - namely the Thai restaurant and Carrie’s whale watching tour - just right across the street.

An amazing location and quaint stay! We walked about 2 minutes down the road and we’re able to see seals and grab dinner!

We absolutely loved this apartment! The views of the Rogue River were incredible. The place was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were pristine, it was peaceful and quiet…and did I mention the view?!?! Would absolutely stay there again on my next trip to the coast.

Loved the location!

The space was nice and clean. The pictures on the wall gave the interesting history of the area, and I loved it. But where it shines bright is outside. We could see a hint of the Pacific between the houses out our back windows. We enjoyed breakfast this morning sitting at a picnic table, surrounded by honeysuckle and seagulls. It was LOVELY. It would be a pleasure to return to DePoe Bay and Bill and Peggy’s place!

Wow! So impressed with the location (easy to find), how clean the unit as well as the rest of the area and property. The room was tidy with nice and thoughtful amenities. To some this may be a small detail but it spoke to us the attention to detail, the bedding was ultra soft fabric! It was perfect for us, son and daughter-in-law and two teenage grandsons. Ample parking. And the house keeper was delightful and very thoughtful even leaving us a small bouquet of roses because she said she saw me admiring them!! This is a “home” we will look forward to returning to!

Bill and Peggy’s beautiful place made my little family feel right at home! It was one of the best AirBnB stays i’ve ever had! My son loved the little living space and stayed up late to watch cartoons! It was very local we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go! I will definitely be coming back again this summer! Great location and great amenity for a spontaneous trip to Oregon Coast. The rooms are not large but very functional. I totally agree with a previous review that the host did not cut any corners. Their hospitality was shown through the details of things they prepared for the guests, and the beautiful ocean-themed decor throughout. I feel the lodge is well loved, and the host prepared it with the intention for people to fully enjoy their stay. Great value for the price too, highly recommend!

My son and I stayed for a night. (Late mother's day celebration) It was a nice place. My other son and his girlfriend were in Newport for the day so we all went to Pelican Brewery ( Snoopy friendly) for a good dinner. That evening my son and I enjoyed a couple drinks and karaoke We enjoyed Depor Bay very much and hope to return soon.

Very nice and warm stay

I really enjoyed my week at Depoe Bay. The place was cute comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable and lots of choices of pillows (although I always bring my own). Very nice long walks through town and in the neighborhood. I saw people walking the rocks down by the shore but I stayed on the sidewalks and parks. There were lots of nice sandy beaches nearby that my dogs and I visited.

Can’t say enough nice things about this place. Very comfortable. Great location. The details are what was so nice. They did not cut any corners when it come amenities. Small things like having a tv that rotates to a power bank charging station for the family…everything was so well thought out. Also, we had a special request that they were able to accommodate which was so nice. Rate this a 10+ in terms of value, communication and overall stay.

It is quite small but it is in a fun location close to whale watching.

These are cute old timey beach cottages in connected suites. Pros: Super clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the living room was cozy, the shower was nice and hot. Cons: It was a little overpriced for what you get but what isn’t these days and the beds were rock hard very uncomfortable.

The place is well-located, close to everything. It is full of character, yet well appointed with modern touches. We were there for only one night but I could see it would easily accommodate a multiple night stay. Would highly recommend this place!

A nice quiet stay with the pacific in the backyard! We were able to take a nice little walk in the neighborhood and found a scenic viewpoint practically right across the street. The inside of the place was decorated perfectly with a theme to really make you feel at home on the ocean and included everything anybody could possibly need. A close walk to the main part of town that included restaurants, shops and again beautiful scenery. Would love to stop in again if we are traveling through, or even book a nice summer vacation there. My only regret is we couldn’t stay longer!

Great place for a fair value. Everything was neat and well stocked with extra toiletries in case you forgot something. Even though it was a multi-unit setting it was very peaceful for being fully booked.

The place was cozy and homey, and chock full of lovely little additions to make things comfortable for our stay. The kitchen and bathroom was remarkably well-equipped, and we felt perfectly at home. We will stay here again!

Bill and the rest of the staff here are super! So friendly and helpful. They will love your pet! The lodgings were very clean and a great location for a short walk to Depoe Bay. There are a couple of benches in the neighborhood overlooking the ocean too. Perfect size for three of us and our dog.

Great, super cute spot! We stayed for one night to celebrate my mom’s birthday and it was perfect for our overnight adventure. Walking distance from everything in Depoe Bay, only a 10 min walk to the best seafood restaurant I’ve ever eaten at (Tidal Raves - get the clams!!!) Was definitely cozy, with an extra small bathroom. We are a short bunch so it was fine but I can imagine for taller people it might be tight! Communication with the hosts was excellent and we’d definitely stay again!

Great location - ~800 steps to the bridge over the bay and downtown. Convenient and fun visit. Added bonus: saw some whales and seals just off the coast!

This place is old-fashioned and adorable. I love the historical photos and other nautical decor. You can walk easily to the cute shops and restaurants of the village from this rental, and the giant Fred Meyers in Newport is just a short drive away for groceries to cook in the kitchen. This place is roomy and thoughtfully set up so it doesn’t feel crowded when some folks are working while some are watching tv. Our big dog liked taking walks here. We’ll be back!

We love this place. So much that I kind of want to leave a worse review so it doesn't get really popular and I can't get a room. Dog friendly, close to the beach, super comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Depoe Bay. The unit was really clean and cosy. Great value for this price. The kitchen was well furnished. Because the bedrooms were facing the main road, it was a bit noisy in the morning but nothing that earplugs cannot handle. Would come back again if we pass by the area!

Very cozy spot near the beach. We had 6 people. We made it work with the two beds and pull out couch. No blankets for the pull out couch though so should have brought some ourselves. A little crammed but we knew it was a small spot - better for a smaller group. Nice and clean though and will be back :)

Our three person group stayed one night and is was well cared for, stocked and cleaned. It was a comfortable stay and I would recommend to friends. The VRBO owner communication was fantastic, thorough, helpful and timely. No problems at all!

Headed down to Depoe Bay with a few friends, had a great trip. Bill was very communicative before we got there. Check in was very easy and the place was nice and warm when we arrived- much appreciated after being out all day! Right by the water and close to shops downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

We rented the place for six weeks as interim housing for our daughter (she needed a place to bridge the gap between reporting to a new job and the available date on her apartment). It was the perfect place for her needs and she was sad to leave. Bill and Peggy were more than helpful in making sure she had everything she needed. Bill even recovered a dropped cell phone and went the extra mile to ensure it was returned. When we visit the area, this will be our first choice for lodging.

This was an easy and convenient stop for us on our way up the Oregon coast. The rooms were comfortable and we had plenty of space for our small toddler. It was easy to access and management gave us all the information we needed for the rental.

My family enjoyed our stay at Bill's place. The property was clean and comfortable, felt spacious for four adults with plenty of seating in the living room for conversation and elbow room in the kitchen. My husband and father really liked looking at all the photos of mysterious old ships on the walls. Location is great - property is within walking distance of downtown Depoe Bay. There were guests in the other units but we couldn't hear them between walls, so there's good soundproofing. Thank you for providing us with a nice, quiet place during our trip to the coast!

The place was clean. It was a little tight for 4 of us and a pet. But was cheaper than a hotel and has the privacy of bedrooms. I would stay again.

In a good location, close to both Lincoln city and Newport. It looked a little smaller in person than on the pictures but over all was as expected. Twas a clean area and we appreciated the addition of cooking materials.

This was the perfect spot right by the water. You can walk to the shops and restaurants with great ocean views and whales in the distance. The house was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Right off the 101, it's easy to get to and check in was a breeze. We felt like the place was pretty standard and simple. Gave us what we needed for our two nights stay, but wish that the furnishings and beds could be a little bit updated. It felt a little cramped for 4 people.

Cute place. Host is great at getting back to you. Bring a bed topper if you don’t like firm mattresses. It worked perfect for us as a good stopping point for our Long Beach trip down the coast!

Cozy little place not too far from the excitement. Note that most of the exterior photos (where you can see houses and the ocean) are for units on the back of the property. #3 has a view of the parking lot and Highway 101. As of this review, there is only a Keurig for coffee, and while well stocked, if you drink decaf or prefer your own roast, there is no way to make drip or pour over coffee. Beds were soft and comfortable. The kitchen is sufficient for making basic meals. Toiletries are provided and towels were soft and clean. It feels dated and certainly doesn't have a ton of amenities, but we found it clean and comfortable and more than sufficient for our needs.

Just a wonderful little stay. Nice and private. You cannot hear those staying next to you. Always very satisfied when I get to stay in Depot Bay!

Great little getaway in Depoe Bay! Super close to shops and restaurants down the 101. Quaint touches and full stove and fridge made it nice and homey.

Very Cute place for a weekend getaway. Stocked with everything you might need for a kitchen and house. Location is perfect, 1 min from the depot bay boat launch. The space is just a bit too cozy for 2 couples, Otherwise everything else was super comfortable, great couch and beds and all our overall needs where met. Thank you for the stay.

What a great little place! Throw back to vacations with my grandparents as we drove across the country. Cute apartment with two rooms and a bathroom with quaint touches and a rustic, yet clean and nostalgic decor. Personal parking space and management that cared enough to call and let us know we left personal belonging. Our next visit to the coast will include a stop over here!

Trollers lodge was just what I had been looking for clean, reasonably priced and the owners were nice. It was nice to be within walking distance of the harbor, shops and a number of restaurants and we will definitely stay here again.

We never actually got to stay at Bill’s place due to the wildfires at the time. However they called us the morning of our stay and immediately offered a full refund, even though they didn’t have to by Airbnb policy. Wonderful people to deal with. We will be back in better times!

This cozy cabin was perfect for our family trip to the coast. Enough sleeping space for 3 adults and a toddler. The highway was louder than I thought it would be but could be expected being right on 101. The floors were pretty dirty and my toddlers feet were black by dinner. I doubt many people would mind this. Aside from that, the cabin was great and we are open to staying here again in the future.

Loved our stay! Was the perfect spot on our quick trip to the coast. Bumped into the owner and talked for close to 40 minutes! She was great and shared with us some local tips and secret beach locations. ;) Will definitely stay there again.

We had a good time here. The only thing I had a slight issue with are the beds, they both were a little too firm for all of us. Also, not really an issue but the parking is tight so prepare for that. My 3 boys enjoyed it and requested that we stay there the next time we head to the coast! I was a little concerned being so close to 101 that we would hear a lot of traffic noise but it was barely noticeable, which was great. We will likely be back this summer:)

This quaint little space is perfect for a getaway! It’s close to some great restaurants and a quick walk to the ocean! It was clean and well kept. Not one complaint from me.

Incredibly charming little cottage, walkable to town, and thoughtful hosts that go above and beyond. Great little touches like spare toothbrushes. Also, sparkling clean and they added extra hygienic measures due to Covid-19. We had no qualms staying. Very welcoming to our whole family- including toddler and dog.

My family and I stayed here and it was perfect. Check in was slightly confusing because they did not send the welcome email, but the host was on sight and super helpful and quick with figuring it out. The location was great for walking to see the little shops and great spots for whale watching. If you stay here I highly recommend the Sea Hag restaurant. Great food and great service.

Right in town. A short walk to a couple good restaurants and bars. Be sure to check out the secret little park on a cliff overlooking the beach behind and to the left of the hotel.

This was a wonderful property -- especially for the price. The location was excellent, within walking distance of downtown Depoe Bay, and there was so much room. Two bedrooms, a living room, a full kitchen with a table. It was a great getaway to hang out, enjoy the ocean, eat seafood, play games, and watch movies. Would definitely go again! Thank you!
