My husband and I stayed one night in unit #4. We were given very detailed instructions to check in. The unit was clean, quiet and exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the the toiletries and the full kitchen. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here and were pleasantly surprised because it ended up being nicer than we expected! We booked same day, very last minute (just a few hours before we planned to check in) because we were just passing through town. But they responded super quickly and our stay was very very comfy. And the place was absolutely spotless! We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much for accommodating us so last minute!

The place was well-appointed and clean. The pullout sofa bed was comfortable enough for my 4-year-old to sleep soundly. We sincerely appreciated the seamless check-in and the beautiful grounds. The bathroom was extremely compact, but very usable. Overall would stay again, Netarts was one our favorite locations on this trip!

The place was advertised. It was a hot weekend in the valley and could have caused a surge in pricing along with it being the week before school started for most areas, but it was fairly expensive for a single night for what was offered.

We were looking for a place to stay that was clean and comfortable and close to the beach. Kickin It Up fit the bill nicely. The small but complete kitchen was a bonus. The neighborhood was quiet and had a nice market within a 3 minute walk for most all you needs.

Cozy, very clean unit, with easy self-check in. Pretty small space, but good value for that price and pet-friendly.

What we were most impressed with was how soft the bed sheets were!

Loves our stay. Walking distance to a beach, quiet area. Tillamook ice cream available by the scoop at the market on the way to the beach. The Airbnb was very clean and adorable. The bathroom is tiny but well stocked with toiletries and normal sized towels! Kitchen is very clean and well stocked as well. I was very impressed by the full size appliances and wish I was staying there longer. My daughter, dog, and I were very happy with this booking and I would love to stay there again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Pacific View Lodging! The place was spotless and felt incredibly homey the moment we walked in. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into making the space comfortable and welcoming. The sheets and pillows were wonderfully soft! Everything was very well-stocked—there were more supplies than we expected, toiletries from Bath & Bodyworks, toothbrushes, and band aids, which were a really thoughtful touch. It made our stay super easy and stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean and cozy place to stay!

Cute little place to stay over night. Check in was easy and place was clean when we arrived. Bed was comfotable. We would stay here again if ever in Tillamook.

Great location

It was filled with absolutely everything we needed and it’s a good place to stay. The only thing I would recommend it’s if you don’t feel comfortable in tight spaces, the bathroom won’t be for you, you can only use it one at the time.

Cozy stay near the beach, worked great for me and 2 girlfriends staying 2 nights. The room could have been a bit cleaner. Tip: when using Apple Maps for directions, input “Surf Inn” rather than the street address.

Fine stay for one night for two adults & a toddler. More than that might have been tricky as it was quite small. The dwellings could have been a little cleaner, but had everything we needed for a one night stay.

We were in Netarts for a friend's memorial service and the venue was about half a mile away, so very convenient. The accommodations were clean and cheerful. We appreciated having a full kitchen with a full size refrigerator. Peggy and Bill kept in touch and made everything so easy for us. Thanks a million!

This was a great find! Our family stayed here and we will be booking again in the future. The location was great was a few minutes from some beautiful beaches! The EV charging station on the property was right next to the building. The EV charging station was always available and convenient.

Really great place, I was so happy when we found it and it's in a nice area close to the beach and to Cape Meare. Cute, cozy little space that looks exactly as advertised. Bill & Peggy are friendly and approachable when I messaged them as well, I was worried about having to be 21 after reading through the contract since I am 20, but it's okay to book here as long as you're 18+ (I've never used Airbnb, lol). Besides that, we had a great time staying here :)

Nice safe neighborhood, you’ll enjoy if you like very quiet places! It was super easy to navigate around and super close to the main town and the Tillamook Factory. I had already read reviews of other people mentioning how it’s a small space, but the pictures definitely made it took a lot bigger than in person. But for 2 people, it works perfectly! Bed was super comfortable and A/C worked amazing and the fan was a nice touch as well. Will definitely be booking again next time I visit!

Cute little updated motel room turned into a studio. Great location for our needs. We were visiting from Portland and went to the Tillamook factory and cruised north up the coast after checkout. Full-sized, modern appliances in the kitchen with everything you’d need to cook a great meal. The towels and linens provided for our dog were very appreciated. I will say the bed wasn’t the most comfortable and quite creaky, but it also wasn’t the worst I’ve had at an Airbnb. If you’re a plus size guest, you’re going to have a difficult time with the bathroom. I’m 5’8” and 280lbs and struggled. Even my partner, who is 6’ and 160lbs wasn’t comfortable. The shower is tiny and there’s hardly any space to move around. That said, the toiletries provided were great, and they tried to maximize the space as much as they could.

It’s was a great place! But there was a dirty pillow case left on one of the pull out beds pillows. And there was a broken wine glass in the cabinet! Not sure how the housekeeper missed that stuff but it was not professional at all! This unit is VERRRRRY small!!!! So know what you’re renting before you check out!!! The shower head is only 5’ tall my husband had to squat to take a shower! And the shower it’s self is like 2’x2’!!!!! Soooo small!! The bathroom is very small too! Can’t fit more than 1 person. Also the kitchen sink is not deep at all very small can’t barely wash the dishes!!! And there’s no dishwasher so you have to hand wash the dishes which makes it feel less sanitary!!! Idk not everyone knows how to really really wash dishes!! Yuck!!! 🤮 All in all it’s a cute little place. The beach access is nice just a little Bay Area not the actual beach. The table and chairs are way too big for the unit bc the pull out couch. Just barely enough room. I wouldn’t stay here again.

This is the second time I have stayed at this motel, and everything has been a great experience. I would reccomend it for a great beach trip. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the beach is an easy walk from motel. they make sure to supplies all things to make for a comfortable trip.

 I will definitely be staying there again. Everyone was wonderful even when I was silly and didn’t understand the instructions to get in. I called she walked me through any further questions I had or answered properly, and the room was just a joy. It was very comfortable, and it fits the surroundings.

This was a great deal to do a weekend trip with some friends and split the space. The sofa bed was reasonably comfortable. Bathroom is super small but it was at least clean and had usable utilities. The place was very well kept and stocked. Overall a good stay.

Lovely little place to stay! We enjoyed the full kitchen and being able to cook dinner since the restaurants in the area were limited. The toiletries were a nice touch, and there was plenty of very hot water! Great place for a quiet beach getaway!

Bill and Peggy anticipated things that made our stay so convenient and helped us find restaurants and fun tourist spots. The unit had great check in instructions and easy check in and check out instructions. Their unit was pet friendly but as non pet people we appreciated the furniture coverings we saw they provide those who do travel with pets. I have already recommended this location to family traveling in the area.

Good location, 15 mins from local Lighthouse, 1.2H from iconic Cannon Beach, and 2.3H from spectacular Heceta Lighthouse. The only thing we're missing is a dishwasher, but except that, it has everything to stay comfortably.

Cute spot! No close restaurants to accommodate when you have a baby with you but the drive to Tillamook isn't long or far. The convenience store right behind was just that - convenient! I was most impressed witht the pot and pan selection within the airbnb. They had more than enough to accommodate. Will definitely return if back in the area.

Great value for the money but you need to be aware of the possible noise. This particular unit (7) has some kind of machine operating above the bedroom ceiling. It was loud enough to prevent me from sleeping. My phone measured 40 decibels which is comparable to a whisperer. If you have sensitive sleep, this particular unit (7) will not work for you. I contacted the host who promptly reassigned me to another unit (4) which did not have the noise issue. Big thanks for the quick response! I hope the management fixes the noise issue soon, because I imagine it’s a dealbreaker for a lot of people!

Communication was over the top! Though we never had any questions or problems (everything was explained clearly multiple times and ways), we were encouraged to ask. The unit was very clean with a comfortable bed and lots of clean linens. We only warned things in the kitchen, but could have easily made and served a meal with the pots, pans, and dishes. While on the main road, road noise didn’t reach the unit. We and our dogs were very happy with our stay!

The place was exactly as described and was clean and tidy. I had some difficulty getting the code at first (my fault), but I called the phone number provided and I was able to get in right away. Peggy was very helpful and friendly. The location is convenient, though it is on a pretty busy street and there isn’t a whole lot within walking distance. But I felt it was an excellent value and perfect for a beach getaway! I definitely recommend it and plan to return for my next coast visit.

My wife and I chose this place for a one-day writer's retreat-- we've been feeling cooped up in our place over the winter so we wanted a change of scenery and the chance to take in some less adulterated nature than is available in Portland. Overall we were very pleased with the accommodations; we appreciated the detailed instructions and recommendations, though the area is remote enough that there's limited offerings in the way of food and coffee shops. For a pet-friendly airbnb the furnishings and such were very clean, but I did notice (and this is because I'm autistic and sensitive to such things) some lightly lingering pet smell on the rug and one of the blankets smelled a bit like it'd been in storage for a long time. These weren't negatives that impacted us in any way, but I do think that it might be worth having a candle or some kind of mild air freshener in place to mitigate any lingering scents that cleaning doesn't eliminate.

This place was so cute and perfect for our girls night get away!!! We had dinner down the road at the upstairs bar and grill and breakfast at Alice's country house( a few minutes away). Both had delicious food and small town charm and hospitality. The TV has all the different streaming services you can sign into with your own account. The couch and bed were super comfy. All three of us are planning on returning.

Well priced, good location, nice amenities, but could've been quite a bit cleaner. The size of the bathroom was challenging. Overall adequate.

Great stay in Netarts.

This is my 2nd time staying in the same unit. I really appreciate the full size appliances in the newly remodeled kitchen. I had to extend my stay, due to weather, and the process was just one phone call. I'll be staying there every 3 months for 5 to 7 day at a time.

A good option if you need a place to stay on the Oregon coast for a decent price and don't mind not being right on the beach. The bedroom and bathroom are quite small but the kitchen is nice. The bed is pretty rickety.

Bills place was a great location for accessing the bay and walking on the beach. It was a plus that my dogs could join me on the trip. The unit had everything I needed and more for the two nights I was there. TV reception was a little bit spotty but probably normal for that area.

Good place to stay for the night we were in the area. Only complaint was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom that we couldn’t locate or get rid of and walls were a bit thin. Besides that it was a comfortable accommodation.

Bill’s place is very clean and cozy. It is about 10 minutes walk to Netart boat launch and right next to a convenient store. We really enjoyed our stay at Bill’s place

A good place to stay when you wants to explore Netarts Bay Area, the apartment is a little small, but has all the elements you would need. The access to the beach has some stairs so wouldn’t be good for people who wants easy access. Overall very nice and convenient

Surf Inn is a GREAT place to stay by the Bay. Everything you need is right there - full kitchen, pull-out sofa for the younguns or +1, 5-star coffee and chit-chat across the way at Seaworthy. Sweet market next door and another one towards the Bay. Pro tip - make your reservation ahead of time at the Schooner. If you haven't been there in a while, the secret is definitely out...

There weren't clean bedsheets for the pullout, but I called the emergency number after 9 pm and clean sheets arrived within minutes. Great service!

This place was the perfect spot for my husband, myself, our 2-year-old, and our German Shepard. Amazing area, located right next to a small store, and a perfect walk to the beach. We will definitely be booking here again!

The bed was quite comfortable and the space was clean, but the unit is smaller than photos depict, low ceilings and small doors make the space feel cramped and uncomfortable.

Cutest little retreat! Came for the creamery and it was just far away from the crowds. We loved spending the night there and definitely would come again!

We stayed two nights at Surf’s Inn and hope to be back. The apartment is well furnished, Bill clearly paid attention to the quality of the furniture, linens etc. and paid attention to the small details. My wife was initially hesitant about the place as it was a motel but it’s been updated and this was better furnished than most AiRBnB houses of the same size I have stayed in and she’s ended up really liking the place. It’s on the small side but was more than enough for me and my wife and our doggy. Very dog friendly, there were sheets to cover the furniture and a designated dog area with potty bags! Also a very close walk to the beach, walk down the street and climb down the stairs and you have your own private beach/cove. We will be coming back to stay here and explore more of the coast!

Netarts Surf Inn is wonderful place in a great location! Although not directly on the beach, it was a short, safe, and pleasant walk away that allowed us to check out a bit of the neighborhood. With a coffee shop across the street and a couple cute, locally owned beach convince stores that carried everything from groceries to beach tops for the kiddos, this charming and well maintained inn was exactly what we needed to get out of the city for a couple days. We actually enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed an extra day!

The place was as described. The location was great. I did have a problem at first because the room that was assigned for us was not cleaned when we checked in at 6 PM. I had to call and have them fix the whole situation. They gave us another room. It was annoying, but they did fix the situation.

Cute, cozy room with all the basics and a very comfy bed at an affordable price. Good leaping off point for coastal explorations like Cape Mears or Tillamook. I'd definitely book again!

I stayed 3 nights with my 2 young kids. We used the a lot. It was clean and had almost everything you would need to cook simple meals (needed pot holders for the oven). The hide a bed was foam and more comfortable than the one in the bedroom to us. Both rooms were clean and cozy. The TV and wifi worked great. The bathroom toilet was dirty and the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned, but some cleaning wipes fixed it right up. There is a very strong odor coming from the bathroom sink, like a full septic tank maybe. Otherwise the room and linens were nice and clean. The landscaping is nice, and there is a wonderful beach access point a 5 minute walk down the road. Also local shops and bigger beach access points and yummy restaurants a very short drive away. I would definitely stay here again for the price. Thank you!

It was a decent stay. Although I only.stayed 1 night it was nice to have a full kitchen. The bathroom was VERY tight. Water took awhile to get hot. It did feel alittle cramped . It appears they intent 4 people to stay based off the pullout couch and table. Which was overkill for this small space. Overall I was pretty happy. I would probably come back.

The room was very clean, well equipped for a night stay. In a quiet relaxing part of Netarts. My one complaint is that the unit smelled like onions throughout the stay. However, a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quick getaway.

What a wonderful place to stay! As a couple road tripping on 101 there was no better sight to see than the Surfs Inn. The place was SPOTLESS and even had popcorn! If we’re ever in the area again we will definitely stop for another stay.

Clean place in a fantastic location!

The Surf Inn is a tidy, well appointed unit with a 1 bedroom and a pull out couch in the living room for another 2. Our unit had a nice dining room table that we comfortably sat 5 (had company over for Thanksgiving dinner, they brought an extra chair), and although small a very efficient kitchen complete with a full size oven/ stove and refrigerator too. Walking distance to beach access, and sure appreciated it being welcoming to pets. We will be back next time we are at the beach in Tillamook.

This place is a motel, not a home. The walls are fairly thin -- we could hear our neighbors quite well. This place is centrally located for the hikes and beaches we wanted to visit. Check-in and -out were very easy.

AMAZING! I cannot express this enough. This place was so neat and tidy, the upgrades were super nice, and it’s walking distance to the beach. We stayed at an inn in Garibaldi for around the same price, but it wasn’t as nice as Netart’s Surf Inn. We will definitely be coming back here.

A nice cozy spot in Netarts. Very clean, with a shower and a simple but recently remodeled kitchen. Nothing too fancy, but just what we needed in a base camp for our beach stay. Walking distance to a set of stairs down to the bay, and a short drive from Happy Camp and Oceanside.

We enjoyed our stay at Surf In. The owners and staff were are super people. The surrounding area is nice with not a lot of tourist traffic. The only thing missing was a good grocery but that is close like 6 miles away in Tillamook. Clean, comfy and quiet!

Our stay was great! A cute little space with everything we needed. We stayed here to visit the Tillamook Creamery, which was a only a 15 min drive. Hosts were helpful with a whole binder full of recommendations for shops and local food around. The beach was also right behind us, a 5 min walk. Loved our weekend getaway here!

The Surf Inn is an old school motel where the doors open directly onto the parking lot. There has been a significant renovation and the units are comfortably furnished and have modern flooring and appliances, that has updated it into a long building of side-by-side suites with modern amenities. The Kickin Out (Unit 4) has a comfortable queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the main living area, along with a kitchen space that would be useful for longer stays. The renovation results in a clean and updated space. We found most details attended to including a coffee machine, full sized fridge and hotel style toiletries, but some unusual things were overlooked. The wall heaters are quiet and efficient and the keypad entry was super easy for self check-in. On the other hand, the shower head is only about 5 1/2 feet above the floor which would be really inconvenient for tall guests, and the hot water takes a LONG time to arrive at the faucets. Over all this was a comfortable and cozy stay for a couple traveling with a dog, but not fancy and not really walking distance from restaurants, beach or other area attractions.

This is a small motel like stay, which worked well for a short stay of one night. We got in pretty late, showered, and went straight to bed before getting up early next morning and checking out. For what we needed, this was a great deal and comfortable enough. Tillamook is a lovely town and we enjoyed our time on the Oregon coast thanks to Bill's hospitality and this modest airbnb.

Maybe not so hidden. But I have never been to this area. Loved this stay, cute place and it’s always a perk to have a full kitchen. Lovely beaches and small town feel. Much better than some of the big beach towns.

This little place is adorable, very clean and has everything you need! Some amenities are on the small side like the bathroom/shower... It’s conveniently located right next to two small markets. Also, right next to Netarts Bay. We didn’t walk around to the closest ocean access but drove to a beach right down the road called Oceanside. This was a nice place to relax. Both the bed and sofa were quite cozy, and the dinner table was a nice touch. We cooked up our fresh fish and really enjoyed our night in the room.

Great little spot for a quick one night stay for my fiancé and I in Netarts while visiting family in Tillamook. Quick 10min walk (on the beach!) down to the Schooner bar and restaurant. The space felt clean and new and check-in was easy.

Needed a place to stay one night as part of our weekend on the Oregon coast and came across the Surf Inn in Netarts. It was the perfect start to our weekend, nice room, dog friendly, a couple of restaurants close by, short walk to the beach and just a bit out of the way for things to be nice and relaxing. Loved our stay!

Very conveniently located for hiking the Three Capes.

This is not a 2 bedroom as advertised. Airbnb/host listed it as one even though my search criteria was a 2 bedroom because we had 4 adults and an infant. Further in the listing it says the second bedroom is in the common area which is actually a living room but I didn’t see that until I walked in the door. Only 1 sheet and a decorative blanket were provided for the sofa. Only 4 towels, no beach towels and 1 dish towel. 4 plates and minimal dishes and utensils. Holes in the drywall and toilet paper holder falling out. Not worth the $300+/night we paid.

Good location, space was a decent amount for two but wouldn’t recommend it for more than that. Small bathroom but otherwise great little spot for a quick getaway to the coast. Also checkout the coffee lady across the street.

We were road tripping down the Oregon coast and found this gem! Bill was wonderful in his response to our questions and left helpful local tips that had us down to a beautiful beach in no time! This was a welcome reprieve from the touristy Seaside area! The apartment was cozy with everything you would need to enjoy your stay and the fact that it was pet friendly was a bonus! I am not sure we would have discovered the bay without it!

Netarts is such a sweet town. This is great place to stay and explore Netarts and Oceanside. Very clean and well maintained.

The highlight of the place was the convenient access to a great beach! We enjoyed watching the sunset while we were there. While the accommodations were good for my wife and I and our baby, the rental is quite small and could get cramped with more than three guests (especially adults). Also, be sure to stock up on supplies before you get to town. The grocery options are very limited as are restaurants, so, if you aren't prepared, you'll find yourself having to drive to the next town.

This place is so cute! I love all the decor and it was conveniently located right next to a store and directly on the highway but still close to the beach. Slight traffic noise but not bad at all. Bed was comfortable and it was clean and great for my short trip to the beach.

We loved our stay. The town is super cute and walking along the beach on the Cape was a highlight of our trip.

Netarts is a quaint little seaside town and this motel is extremely conveniently located. It has the functional essentials and the self check-in is simple and easy. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to travel on a budget.

A great place to stay! Its a cute little rental with everything you need for a stay at the beach. There's even a small market right behind the place in case you need anything! Baby friendly, pots and pans and cutlery are provided, everything is clean, everything went as smooth as butter. Simply, a great place to stay!

Home away from home

Although the space is small, its very well maintained, clean, has heat& very easy self check in. Not to mention dogs are allowed which was wonderful ! Easy walk to the Coast, has a little cabana area for a smoking / dog relief, and a small convenient store next door, not bad at all!

Headed to the coast with my husband for a couple of low key days, where he could relax and I could work remotely. Surf Inn is exactly what we were looking for; giving us separate living and sleep space, and a kitchen without breaking the bank. Beach was an easy 3 block walk and we were able to get in lots of walk between the rain showers.

Bill was very quick to attend to our requests and we were very happy with the way things worked out. The kitchen was well outfitted and the heaters (which we loved, as we are coming from a tropical country), was very much appreciated! The unit was tastefully decorated, and we spent a very enjoyable and comfortable night there!

Wonderful retreat with an amazing location. Bill's space is the cleanest Airbnb I've ever stayed in - and I've been in many. Wonderful hospitality in a beautiful part of the country. We will be back!

I had a quick and easy stay. I appreciated the amenities and the solid communication. The location is very close to Oceanside and Tillamook and felt very easy and chill. The bathroom is tiny but I was expecting that and since I'm just one person I was able to use the kitchen to keep my stuff (very little counter/shelf space). Also, I didn't have a pet but did hear a dog barking through the walls. Totally wasn't an issue for me and didn't last much at all, but reminded me that a louder dog might be a thing here. But great spot overall. Clean and comfy.

Great communication! Great place to stay. We’d booked last minute to get out of the rain and it was fantastic to stay. We were bummed we didn’t rent it all week long.

Location to the beach is good (although no views from the place), and Cape Meares is fantastic. Our unit smelled like smoke even though it’s non-smoking. Overall, we had a great time! The Airbnb didn’t detract or add too much either way.

The Surf Inn is the perfect place to set up a home base and explore the Oregon coast! It feels like home and who could ask for more!

Location, location, location! The room was super clean, awesome location- it's by everything. The owners and property managers were responsive and accommodating. They are continually getting new stuff. We had a brand new fridge (full size), stove, oven, and microwave.

Super cute place! Really easy to find. Had many amenities, we cooked our own dinner a few nights and all the necessary cookware was there. It was very clean and comfortable. Super close to the beach with a very easy walk. We also felt very safeml. Definitely would stay there again!

Everything was as expected! Good fit for 2 adults and a child.

Overall a great affordable rental with very close beach access. Bed was extremely comfortable. Rental was a bit smaller than imagine, perfect for 1 to 2 people, but would be very crowded with more than 2 people.

Love the Surf Inn. Stayed last year and now this year under new ownership. Nice couch and TV, great location close to the beach. Biggest bonus was the kitchenette (well stocked), which we used for cooking the clams we dug that afternoon. Would stay again...perhaps we will.

Cute small 1 bedroom close in to the action at Netarts. Part of a hotel or inn, but was off the road enough to feel comfortable.

Clean and well kept. Great studio apartment-type space for a solo traveler. Just a 10 minute drive to Tillamook, with easy highway access. Helpful that dogs are allowed as well.
