Great place for a short stay for us it was perfect. 5 min walk from great views, restaurants and the whale watching center and boats!

Cute, clean, and charming little spot! It’s definitely tiny, but perfect for one person. I was able to work remotely using their internet with no issues. It probably would have felt cramped with two people or with my dogs, but for a solo stay it worked great. There’s a view of the ocean and I could hear the waves all night, which was lovely. I asked for a tea kettle and they brought one right away — very responsive and accommodating. The housekeeping staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, which really added to the overall experience. The bed was a little hard, but still comfortable enough, and I appreciated that there were a few different pillow options for size and firmness. Overall, the price was right and it was a pleasant stay.

Was a nice little spot for a good price. nothing fancy but it has all the essentials. Cool little spot that feels nice and private, while only being a block away from the heart of town. I can walk to the whale watching building in less than 5 minutes. Check in was easy and staff were friendly. They're pet friendly too, but it doesn't smell like dog. Thanks bill and Peggy!

Great option for a quick turn-around and last-minute stay. Having all of the information detailed and accessible made it easy to get there and get in without a lot of communication, which was beneficial since we booked spontaneously and to escape stress. The place was perfect for the price and especially nice on a budget-very clean and themed nicely. My only issues as a sensitive would be strong detergent smell (common) and noise, which are of course common occurrences at such lodges with high turnaround and people in close proximity-especially when keeping it pet-friendly. Otherwise, it was quaint, lovely, and great for the price.

Amazing cozy place to stay in 10/10 would recommend

For you Depoe Bay lovers, this is a convenient location. You can walk to downtown and the spouting horn - it's just a little south of the bridge.

The ocean was poorly visible. The room was clean and i did not have a pet with me.

This place was exactly as described. Small room, but very cozy and perfect for me and my wife. You can even get a small view of the ocean from just outside our room. Everything was clean and easy to use. Highly recommend for a road trip stay, as that was our experience.

Our room was great with a scenic view of the ocean and an overlook if you walk a block away.

Classic roadside motel you are looking for! loved the white buildings with green trim, lovingly tended flower beds, hilltop location and pocket ocean views. The towels were white and fluffy, thoughtful toiletries provided & excellent water pressure. Wine glasses & full sized coffee pot were nice to have. The dog was also welcome. This isn’t a classic AirBnB but we wouldn’t have found it if it wasn’t on the website.

Beautiful place to stay, lots of walkable area. Bill and Peggy are very good people friendly and kind. Don't know if it's mentioned in the ads but there is a small library on site a soda machine and a BBQ. Highly recommend for a one nighter or a long weekend.

I really did like how it was close to the main street in Depoe Bay (HWY 101), but it still felt tucked away and cozy. The Thai restaurant was just a short walk away for dinner, so that was cool. Everything was fine, and it was quiet and comfortable.

Nice view of the ocean and within walking distance of everything in town. Clear parking and entry instructions which was nice!

Great little place to stay, Beautiful area

I loved staying at Bill and Peggy’s. It was a cute little spot with a nice picnic set up outside. It was the perfect place to stay for a beach getaway. Close to so many restaurants and the beach.

Great and affordable

We enjoyed our stay in this quaint little inn in Depoe Bay. Super friendly hosts. We appreciated the pet friendly accommodations and the peaceful atmosphere.

Everything was clean, though the bed and furniture generally smelt a bit run down and old. But nice for a night.

This was our second time at Trollers Lodge and we enjoyed it as much as the first time.

Other than the misleading name of the stay (or I have a different definition of “lodging”), it felt more like a hotel room than a lodge. Everything else was exactly as described. Really enjoyed the detailed list of activities to do in the area and I recommend going to “Whale Bites” down the street (walkable) for a breakfast with multiple dietary options.

Great spot to rest … it’s a comfortable soft bed and a clean hot shower!! Lots to do around. Can see parts of the ocean.. there was coffee, a microwave and small fridge. Perfect for overnight.

Property was quaint and had an old time feel. Bed comfortable and everything was clean. Otherwise it was damp and smelled musty. Heater worked well.

There was so much provided for the space. I also left an item behind and promptly at checkout time I received a call and text message to let me know I had left something behind!

Location is great & easy to find. Bed was comfy and had nice pillows. Kinda noisy and my only real complaint is the tiny shower, it’s very small. It’s like a RV camper sized shower, had to put my leg outside of the shower to shave. The bathroom was well equipped with items you may need. It would be great if it had a larger bathroom area.

Great stay! Super close to the shops in Depoe Bay.

I spent two nights there and thought it was a great place, my only issue with the place was with the shower. It would randomly go from the warm temperature to scalding. This happened on both days after a few minutes sustaining the same temperature. It’s a great spot and the food in the surrounding area is incredible.

The room was cute, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was VERY well stocked. The woman that greeted us told us of a view of Depoe Bay just steps from the room. Nice little walk below our room, through a small foliage tunnel, and a bench surrounded by greenery to enjoy the view. It was great!

Cute place in Depoe Bay where you can see the water. Depending on the room, sunset is rught out your window. Some extra ammenities are offered for dog friends (a towel and a furniture cover) which is very cool.

This was a nice little place right by Depot Bay. Not the most spacious room but it was comfortable for relaxing at night after the hikes and exploring during the day.

It was just a one night stay but overall a decent place, communication is great with all details Shared well in advance, a dedicated parking spot available. We felt the place would need improvement but okayish place to pass on a night during our Oregon coast drive. Thanks for the stay.

Great room! Very clean! Super easy check-in! Proactive and responsive hosts! Close to Depoe Bay bay and docks and whale watching center! Decent Thai place across the street! (1-2 min walk) Awesome scratch-made desserts at The Horn Public House (key lime pie, marionberry pie alamode)! (3-4 minute walk) Surprisingly Small shower! I laughed when I saw it; excited for the adventure to come in trying to clean my feet. However, the shower head is very adjustable and I had little issues at 6’1”, 220lbs. Everything worked great! hairdryer, tv, remote, lights, fans, curtains and blinds, fridge, microwave, keypad/locks, outlets, toilet, shower, etc. Parking is great if you have one car- one designated spot for each rental. The extra spots for additional vehicles is limited, but street parking is close. Ocean view is nice (a little obstructed from the houses in front of it, but still beautiful).

We loved the location. The view was limited but we were very close to Depoe Bay so that was not a worry. The room looked liked the photos but I would not want to spend much time inside. It was too small and crowded. Only one of us could move around at a time. There was no space for the luggage or just to spread out.

Nice place on a budget- cozy and comfortable. Great for a work trip!

This site has a lot of pros and a few cons. We were in unit 8. The pros are that you have more than everything you could need. They stock all sorts of amenities like popcorn, wet wipes, shaving cream and so on. There were little touches like that which meant a lot. TV with HDMI hookup was in a good position and they provide amenities for dogs if you have them. Something else was that when we walked outside our room we could clearly hear dogs barking. No sound could be heard in the room, so they did some solid soundproofing between rooms. Shower pressure was also awesome and plenty of pillows and towels were provided. For the cons. There aren't many but they were big for us. The bed was squeaky, lumpy and really uncomfortable. My back is not happy after sleeping on it two nights. The other thing was the shower. The water temp suddenly changed to boiling and since it was tiny, I had to jump out. I would've been really upset if it had happened to my kid.

The place was a bit musty smelling. Everything was very clean. The sheets smelled sour like they didn't get dried all the way. Probably just moisture from being in a very foggy moist area. Im still very happy overall and would stay again.

Great deal for location. We enjoyed having our pups and being so close to the ocean and restaurants.

It is a clean and comfortable enough motel room. Nothing special, but good for the price. The room I was in had a broken electrical outlet, which made charging my phone at night a little difficult.

I love every bit of my two night stay. I love that it was dog friendly and people friendly. The manager goes above and beyond. Huge benefit is the toiletries that are furnished. It is the best customer service and lodge in Depoe Bay . Love love love it!!!!

Great place to stay in Depoe bay you can walk right into town to enjoy the ocean, whale watching, breweries, shopping etc. we were very comfortable here and enjoyed a clean and cozy room. Close drive to other beautiful view points and activities on the coast. Thank you!

This is an old school motel (Schotts Creek) with a lovely view and some homey touches (bandaids, nice soaps, tooth brushes and even razors and shave cream in the bathroom and two wine glasses in the room. It’s small but in a great area. We’d stay again.

Our Airbnb was very clean very stocked very comfortable. The bed was real easy to sleep on. Pillows were perfect. Everything was excellent. Will be back for sure.

Adorable little studio room this time, every detail is perfection, from the enclosed porch to enjoy the rain, to the popcorn in the room and even make up wipes! Very convenient location near the 101. Room description is accurate. If you are just passing through and need a place to stay the night this spot would suit you well. We could hear neighbors just generally talking through the walls, but not shocked since rooms are right next to each other.

This place was so cute and the beds are so comfy. Easy access and close to everything. It had all the necessary things for a stay. We had to check in really late but Bill made everything so simple. We got in and was able to get settled quickly!! Definitely recommend to friends and family!! Thank you Bill

Very nice place that fit our schedule and plans. Had to leave a day early to handle things at home and was pleasantly surprised to get a call from Peggy saying she had a guest who wanted a room for that last day so she credited us the day’s charge. Didn’t have to do that as I expected to incur the total cost. Very good customer service.

Great location, perched on a hill, a very short walk to the ocean. Waves were visible from the window of our unit. The unit was small, but very clean and cozy. Big enough and very pleasant for a couple enjoying the fishing towns along the coastline. Would stay here again!

The room itself is small but the bed was sooooo comfy. The shower had great pressure. The walls are SUPER thin and we got woken up in the morning by the people next to us but other than that it was great!

The unit was in a great location and only a very short walk to several great waterfront shops. We went whale watching also and it was a very short distance away also. We certainly liked Depoe Bay and would recommend this town and the Trollers Lodge to stay at. We had very good communication with Bill.

We just needed a place to sleep on our way south to CA. The building was easy to find, very clean and stocked. Smaller than I thought it would be, but still cozy.

Great place for for a quick rest. Seemed much bigger in the pictures and didn’t have many accessible plug ins. Other than that it was great! Has the vintage lodge feel!

We had to switch rooms because the pipe burst in the one we were supposed to stay in, but our host did everything in her power to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The rooms were very clean and thoughtfully prepared. The location was perfect. Thank you! Our stay was delightful!

Great location! It was just what I needed while traveling down the Oregon coast.

This was a great little place for myself and my dog to stay for one night. It was clean, no frills but had everything I needed to be comfortable and is in a great location on the coast. The walls are a bit thin and my dog was able to hear our neighbors and barked a couple of times during the night. Check in and check out was easy and flawless. I would stay here again.

Great ‘vintage’ style hotel to stay at! Depoe Bay has an old world charm to it and so does the hotel!

The place was clean and the staff was wonderful! Please do keep in mind there is not beach access from this property and this is the case across almost all properties in Depot Bay. However the property was centrally located right in Depot Bay and very accessible to everything. This is a no thrills no gimmicks place but it is clean and safe and as I mentioned above the staff is wonderful

As advertised studio motel. Very close to the beach and right off the 101. Easy check in, be mindfulthe parking spaces are a little small. Walls are a little thin, my pup was definitely aware of sounds from neighbors, but everyone had a respectful bedtime. Nice soap/shampoos available and a toothbrush if you forget yours. Kurig was handy since the local coffee shop opens at 9 And I got an early start.

What a fantastic find this place was. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and comfortable and loved the designated parking space provided. This spot was also so relaxing, quiet and insanely convenient to beaches and state parks along the 101. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

The lodge is located in a great place. Close to the ocean and to the whale watching center - which is closed at this time due to covid19. The place is clean but rather small. It is adequate for an overnight stay but not for long term. There is a microwave and small refrigerator but no plates or dishes or utensils. Overall, it is a motel (lodge) with some extra amenities.

The room was clean and cozy! We loved getting to bring our dog on the adventure with us! You can hear quite a lot through the walls, but it didn’t impact our stay.

We stayed at the Schooner, the place was clean and functional. While we didn't use it, it was a nice touch to have amenities like razors and toothbrushes available, they're easy to forget. For outdoor enthusiasts like us, it as a great base to explore the central Oregon coast!

Very easy process for renting and checking in. The property sits off of 101 on the edge of Depoe Bay. The room was small and cozy and had all the amneties as a hotel. The ceiling fan was noisy and the shower had tape on the floor probably to cover some cracks. Overall, I would stay there again.

Nothing fancy, but very nice. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and well-apportioned it was. Just right for one person looking for a place to sleep out on the coast. I would give 5 stars except for two things. There's no beach here, so although you can see the ocean, you can't get anywhere near it. There's no soundproofing in the walls and you can definitely hear your neighbors' conversations. Otherwise, a great value.

This place was a cute little place that was reasonably priced! The location was perfectly in town and right off the road from the heart of Depoe Bay. However, be careful with the shower. It would change to scalding and boiling hot on a dime. Other than that, fantastic stay.

The check-in was a breeze. I only spent 10 hours there for a quick respite on a trip. The areas I'd suggest need improvement are the amenities. For the price you pay for a 12*12 room with a bathroom you'd expect a little more such as convenient outlets and a room not needing a dehumidifier. I wasn't expecting much and I'd say the price is close to fair.

The place was really easy to locate! The room was sparkling clean and the extra touches like bandaids, toothbrushes, popcorn, etc. were nice! Only downside was the room smelled like the carpets hadn't been washed or cleaned in a really long time. But other than that, it was a great stay.

Great little inn in Depoe Bay! Super close to town and other points of interest along the coast. The room is definitely small but served our needs perfectly. Each room has a separate entrance from the deck/street and there is no staff to interact with so it was great for distancing! Pets being allowed is also a huge plus!

The unit was not very clean when I arrived, and thin walls made it quite easy to hear my neighbors in rooms nearby throughout the night. The WiFi was not super reliable, but worked well when I was able to remain connected.

This is a great little spot, walking distance to downtown Depoe Bay, with a sweet peek of the ocean!

Troller's Lodge is a former motel nestled into the cliffside in Depoe Bay. We were looking for someplace cozy with personality to bring our dog, and it was a perfect match. Our studio room was clean and there were lots of small touches to make us feel at home. We also were able to eat dinner outside while watching the sun set. Best of all, it's tucked away into a gorgeous, quiet collection of ocean homes overlooking the waves where you can go for a breathtakingly beautiful run or walk. We highly recommend Troller's Lodge.

Absolutely loved it here! Easy to get here and the stay felt I was at home. Very friendly hosts that help to accommodate you in anyway they can! There’s also a lot to do in the area, my husband and I stopped at the Rusty Truck and I highly suggest going there for some pizza and getting a flight! The only thing is that the walls are a little thin so this is not the place to have a party, but the neighbors are all quiet and the hosts are on top of any noise issues.

Lovely, Quaint, Easy, and Convenient. Great outdoor picnics, easy access to Depoe Bay. All around a great place to stay and good value.

Great place and very clean. I would highly recommend to stay. Checkin was very simple.

What a quaint little room the schooner is! Perfect for a couple who just wants to spend time together. We took advantage of the trivial pursuit they thoughtfully left in the room and really slept amazing on the comfy bed! All the little extra hygiene stuff is so very thoughtful as well gang. We will be back!

Lovely little lodge removed from the beach by a small residential street. The room was spacious enough for my and my little dog. I appreciated the extra touches, like trivial pursuit and a deck of cards. I had a lovely time being able to unplug from my social media and enjoy the coast.

This place was a great value for the location. It was a cozy place and we loved hearing the ocean at night.

My best friend and I had a great stay at Trollers Lodge. Great location and cute/cozy room.

Aside from paper-thin walls where you can hear everything next door, this place was fantastic!
