Such a cute lil space to have a getaway with family, friends, love ones. There’s a little path down to see the ocean! BREATHTAKING. The place was very clean! Only downfall is the bathroom is a tight squeeze, definitely 1 person only at a time. There’s a little ice tray in the freezer, bring your own water and food/ spices if you’re planning to cook. TV was nice to have one in the living room and bedroom. Also location was amazing, right in the middle of Lincoln, and Newport so that made it convenient to explore! Overall a nice lil place! I recommend for sure

For a last minute booking this place exceeded our expectations. When we got there the lights and heat were on which was very welcoming. The place was better than the pictures and we enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back! The pillows on the bed were extra comfy- meant to find out what kind they were! ;)

This was an amazing place to stay. I wish I would have booked two nights instead of one. the location was perfect close newport or Lincoln city. I liked this place so much I booked another weekend coming up.

The apartment was great, well supplied, and a great location!

Diana was exceptional, efficient and a hoot. She helped a couple of times with the TV and Internet. We used the gas grill and enjoyed the perfect weather. Just wished the crabbing was a bit better, ha. Recommend Newport Cafe down the road.

This is a very cute and quaint motel. It reminded me of the places our family stayed when I was a kid. It was very clean and quiet despite people walking past my room to get to theirs.

This cozy little space worked nicely for a weekend getaway. We like being able to take our dog and it was an easy walk to the whale watching center, restaurants, and shops. The indoor and outdoor areas are kept neat and tidy. It’s definitely cozy and the bathroom is tiny. We would stay here again.

We know that the building is old and that it is the coast, but the room smelled a little moldy. The kitchen floor could've been cleaner.... especially between the cabinetry and the refrigerator. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time, and the owners were very communicative and friendly. The parking was limited, and they kindly allowed me to park near their home.

I had a nice peaceful stay. My room was comfortable. Great location. The place is just a short walk from restaurants and shops. Lots to do and see in the area. Everything is within a short drive.

Great location, right at the south end of town but within walking distance to mostly everything. The suite itself was as described but seemed a little cluttered, but luckily most furniture was moveable in order to make a little more room available. Very nice hosts and lovely housekeeper, she gave our dogs some treats and pets.

The location is great. Good restaurants nearby. It's an older building but very well kept up. The bed was uncomfortable. I appreciated the the sheets theat were provided so our dogs could get up on the couch and bed.

Everything was great. The location was good. The "ocean view" is a little reaching but we could "see" the ocean. The bed could have been more comfortable. That being said, the kitchen was well equipped, there was plenty of space, everything was clean, the communication was excellent and it was overall a great experience for the price I paid.

We very much enjoyed our time at the Trollers Lodge! Everything was clean and cozy! We loved the amenities including all the kitchen utensils, free coffee and tea, and shampoo and soaps! Would highly recommend!

The location is great, inside is dated but very clean, nice staff. Kitchen is small, room for just one person to cook. Bathroom is very small, anyone with a larger body will have issues with the tiny shower which is approx 3 feet wide in either direction. The wifi kept disconnecting and even when it was connected, it was too slow to attempt to try to use. I was here for work and could not work unless I used my phone as a hotspot for my laptop. The walls are extremely thin and we could hear every conversation outside our door and even people on the other side of the bedroom wall. We also had neighbors who were smokers and would light up the moment they left their room and would smoke on the porch as they walked to the grassy area which we could smell into our room. I know this is an old building, but with having to pay $150/night, it just wasn't worth it with the issues listed.

This is the second time I have stayed here w/ my family, and we really enjoy the property. The location is great, the rooms are comfortable and cute, and the set-up has everything we need. Price is super reasonable as well. This time there was a slight snafu when checking in, but Peggy was super responsive and the problem was solved in under two minutes. Definitely plan on staying here again the next time we come to the coast!

It was a great great location and nice place, but a little too small for us. We brought our 2 toddlers and MIL. I didn't realize there was no bathtub and the bathroom is pretty small for washing littles. It was fine for one night and great I think for a single person or a couple. I would stay again without kids 😆

Very clean, great location. Everything we needed to cook/barbecue.

We found this little place on the spur of the moment. It is just as described. It is definitely older and dated, but it is clean, quaint and very quiet. We needed a dog friendly place and it hit the mark. They provide extra sheet covers to place over the furniture so your pet can snuggle with you on the couch and bed (which ours do). We have been to many “dog friendly” places that do not allow your pet on the furniture. There is a full sized kitchen and a couple of treats provided: small bag of coffee and some microwave popcorn. The bathroom is very small, but adequate for everything. They even included some extra goodies there as well: shaving cream, razors, toothbrushes, make up remover pads, and of all things…bandaids! So clever, as I cut my foot on the beach and needed several! Ha! Ha! Nearby restaurants are in walking distance. DO NOT PASS UP going to Gracie’s Sea Hag! The food is AMAZING! We will definitely stay again in the future!

Really beautiful location, friendly staff, and a GORGEOUS area. But the couch had a very strong pet smell that was a bit rough for us. We had to stash the cushions in a corner of the kitchen in order to watch tv without being disrupted by the odor.

Trollers lodge is a wonderful place to stay. It is extremely clean, comfortable, and can meet your needs for eating in or dining out. Walkable distance to the downtown shops, several restaurant's and whale watching.Martha was great. She was available to provide us with extra amenities as we needed them for our weeklong stay. This was my 2nd time staying here and I will be back for sure!

This room was very nice, clean. The four of us had a nice time here. The bed was comfortable and my girls like the sleeper sofa. The location was good with peekaboo views of the ocean. Our only complaint is the tiny bathroom and tiny shower. It was obvious the room had been recently updated and felt very cozy. I also noticed we had neighbors but never heard them through the walls. We would stay here again.

They are clean and comfortable

We only stayed one night, but the location is walkable to almost anywhere in Depoe Bay. The apartment/room was exactly as described, and our family of 4 was comfortable between the bedroom and sleeper sofa. Hosts were easy to contact and quickly solved our only issue.

Best place we stayed on our coastal road trip! Bill and Peggy were very communicative. Although maybe a little dated, our unit was very clean and comfortable, and we liked being able to get a glimpse of the ocean. Being on the main drag made shops and restaurants super accessible, but the place is still tucked away enough that road noise was not an issue. Overall, such a lovely spot. Will definitely return if I'm in the area again!

Overall a lovely experience! Very helpful hosts who were very communicative & also offered us a full refund past the deadline because our car broke down so we almost couldn't make it. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of amenities & thoughtfulness to small details attended to that larger hotels don't have. E.g a small black towel with "makeup" embroidered on it, different types of toiletries (shaving supplies to liquid & bar soaps). A well stocked kitchen (toaster, tea & coffee for the coffee machine & kettle, there even was a cheese grater, colander & peeler - see the tiny things that made it easier). Multiple tvs/ways to connect as well. The location was great as it was right by the Whale museum & the bridge that took you into downtown Depoe Bay. Everything was walking distance & it being right off the path made it easily accessible but very quiet & private. Cute scenic viewpoint right behind it & you can hear the ocean, benches & lookout points around the property too.

Great place to stay!

As described and as expected, especially for Depoe Bay! So glad to get a convenient spot close to great coastal spots (non-locals, no, you cannot stroll beach sands right at Depoe Bay, it is a unique coastal geography, but there are ample surfing locales, tide pools and beach walks within 5-10 minutes). The space itself met our needs perfectly with a dog and kid. Kitchen is reasonably equipped for the basics and I appreciated having a real proper coffee pot plus extra goodies (not Keurig). Plenty of towels and toiletry basics for our two nights. Overall the space was clean, easy to locate and access, convenient to all we wanted to do and very Oregon coast in every way.

A very nice and bright small apartment with partial views of the ocean. Checking in and out was easy with the instructions sent well in advance and with multiple emails/texts, and everything was as described.

We really enjoyed our stay. We fund ur way to the back street and down to the town. The weather was not great and there were no whales but it was way cooler than where we came from. The amenities were excellent: coffee, tissues, nice pillows.we didn’t cook, but it would have been possible. There’s not a lot lot kitchen equipment but there’s enough. The place is quite small and with the sofa bed pulled out, it was a bit tight to move around. We made it work, though, and had a really nice time.

This was a cozy little place, fully stocked with all the comforts of home and lots of homey little touches. The location was perfect for exploring Depot Bay. Everything is within walking distance. A fully stocked kitchen made it nice to have home-cooked meals. This is a little gem on the Oregon coast and Bill was very kind, prompt and accommodating. Thank you so much!

Gorgeous location, super charming place overall. Be advised the bathroom was TINY--would be very challenging for larger folks or those using mobility aids. The shower was also in poor repair but totally functional. Other than that, we really loved this place and especially loved being able to bring our own food and cook in the well-equipped kitchen!

It was a great stay. I brought my two dogs and my cat. It’s a super close walk down to the bay with all the shops and great coffee. I explored the area at night and enjoyed the fog from the deck. I only wish the porch/deck lights would turn off at night so I could enjoy the night on the dryer bench.

Not bad but not great. We found several small slugs in the shower/on the shower walls. The bathroom mat and the living room rug need to be replaced and the whole place smelled heavily of smoke even though it said non smoking room. We did really enjoy the location and the space was well stocked with anything we might need- extra toothbrushes, kitchen supplies, etc.

Well located spot. It has a small kitchen with full size appliances that are very handy. The space is quite small and works well for a couple. We had 4 people in our room for 2 days and things were quite tight. The bathroom is narrow and access is through the bedroom. Given that we weren’t on the coast to hang out in the room, it worked okay. It is located up and away from highway 101, so the room is very quiet. There are picnic tables on the grounds as well as a gas grill.

Great hosts and a great location for exploring Depoe Bay. The rooms are small with an old-school motel vibe, but they are clean and very well equipped. Great communication via email and text and the keypad locks work great - no keys to lug around : ) The full kitchen allowed us to make breakfast in the room and then make sandwiches to bring on our beach runs... worked out very well!

Everyone who worked here/the owners just loved on my puppy and it was so great to be at a place that allows pets and just a quick walk to all the shops and the whale watching center. Came at a time when whales weren't expected. But it was a lovely stay!

We had such a wonderful stay here. Pet friendly and the location is wonderful - tons of restaurants, scenic views and shops. Everyone was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. My only complaint was that it was a bit pricey, but ultimately I’m really happy we stayed here.

Space in one room unit with hide-a-bed was tight for 3 but the beds were comfortable and we were so grateful to find accommodations when things were so full. Just a short drive to long sandy beaches. We had a wonderful time in Depoe Bay!

The description is exactly accurate. The pull out bed is not pre-made which I didn't expect but maybe leaving pull out couches made is why they all suck? This one was plenty comfortable, which I also didn't expect! Great place to stay with some friends

The space is as advertised... a cute motel room that has the bare necessities to get you some rest before moving on to the next place along the Coast. It's not meant to be luxurious and there isn't a view or anything, but the hosts are super welcoming and responsive so I would recommend stopping here for a night if you want to go whale watching the next morning.

We loved our stay. We were two adults although two small children. Our son thought this inn was magical. I’ll be back for impromptu beach trips for or sure. Kitchen was handy.

For the price, the location and accomadations are a good value. There was a minor maintenance issue that Bill personally took care of within the hour. Overall, a good experience.

This was a cute place in a great location in Depoe Bay! It was nice to be in an end unit so we had two large windows in the living room. The full kitchen was great and the bed was comfortable. The space was large enough for me and my two children, but it might have been a little cramped if my partner had been able to come, too, because the small bathroom is through the bedroom and the sofa bed took up most of the living room space when pulled out. We had everything we needed, however, and the place itself was easy to find and clean, with pretty scenery outside.

Decent little spot to stay close to the coast

We had a great two night stay! Loved being able to see the ocean peaking through the houses outside and taking a walk through the neighborhood to watch the ocean sunsets. Very dog friendly! It was basically a motel but much more comfortable and quiet- our unit had a full kitchen which was AMAZING since we love to cook. We also tried out some of the amazing restaurants near by and highly recommend Bay View Thai Kitchen. We loved this little cozy space, it was perfect for the two of us and our small dogs. Thank you for having us! We will be back!! 💜

This was a nice convenient place to stay in Depoe Bay. The place was clean and comfortable and we were easily able to walk into town to grab food or watch the sunset. We had a great time!

Not a bad place to stay for a couple of nights. It was a little under equipped but when we needed something it was easy to get ahold of someone. The beds were comfortable though! We all had a good nights rest after busy days.

Comfortable pet-friendly spot for a great price. We booked very last minute and changed the length of our stay due to power outages at home and the host was very flexible and responsive.

Bill was one of a kind host. The place was clean and exactly as advertised. Communication. Was excellent and the couple of requests I made were answered promptly. I had to leave early because of a personal situation and Bill accommodated my last minute request and issued a refund. I realize he went above and beyond anything he actually had to do. We are grateful for Bill’s hospitality and great service.

We had a wonderful trip to Depoe Bay! This was a perfect location- less than a mile from our favorite dinner spot (Tidal Raves) and a short drive to Devil’s Punchbowl. The place was clean, quaint and had everything we needed. Communication was great and we arrived and departed with no problem. Great place to stay for a weekend on the coast!

Not sure if the listing has been updated, so I'll tell you now, this place has EVERYTHING!!!! The listing made me wonder, so I enquired ahead of time. There was even more stuff than I expected! Like a bag of microwave popcorn - such a nice touch. And Toiletries out the wazoo! You really just need to bring clean underwear and you're all set for your vacation! Also, you know how sometimes you wonder if the towels are decent? These were INCREDIBLE! So soft and thick, and still absorbent. Better than the towels and many expensive hotels. These hosts are incredibly caring and responsive. If you have questions or concerns they are so timely you'll think they are anticipating everything! Would definitely come stay again. The area is great!

Ocean views were amazing! There is no beach access in Depoe Bay, but it is only eight minutes down the road from Otter Rock. We were here on a surf trip and loved having a kitchen to cook our own food at night! Would highly recommend this location for your stay on the Oregon Coast!

It’s also w in walking distance of the Depoe Bay “strip” and a pretty decent pub. Definitely would stay again!

As things started to open up after quarantine, Mom and I needed a girls trip. A road trip from Portland, the coast sounded great! While Seaside was open, Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, and Newport we’re still a few days from allowing tourist. Most hotels were only available for essential workers so I took a look on Airbnb. We only needed a small place, but somewhere with a kitchen was great incase restaurants weren’t as plentiful. Bills place was a great price and offered everything we were looking for. I arrived shortly after Check-in. Easy keypad entry. It was perfect. Private little patio and courtyard area with a picnic table and bbq. Inside was very cozy and clean. Extra towels, brand name bath & body works amenities, and extra toiletries for both sexes incase you may have forgot something at home. Shower has great pressure. Bedroom had it’s own tv with cable. Bed was definitely comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. Living room had a newer sofa bed which also had a comfortable mattress (not often you get to say that! Haha). Plenty of seating, puzzles, tv, just perfect for entertaining especially with viewing access to the kitchen. Made it easy to cook and mingle at the same time. Full size kitchen. Stove, oven, full size fridge, microwave, Kiureg, toaster. Dishes were plentiful, pots and pans for any need. Seems most Airbnb’s provide basic necessities, one pot, one pan but Bills place made us feel right at home with plenty of options to choose from. There was dish sanitizer as well, bonus considering the Covid times we are in. We unloaded the car to head to the fresh fish market when we came across a sign in the kitchen cupboard saying no crab cooking or fish cleaning. I’m sure this is due to avoiding smells, and not wanting to cause discomfort to guests following your stay. I’m glad I stumbled across it and that we didn’t go to the fish market first & purchase crab, that would’ve been a bit disappointing. Just wanted to mention this as it wasn’t listed in the profile or in any other reviews. It didn’t influence our stay, we bought crab cakes instead and had a feast! Our stay was so wonderful we looked into trying to stay another night, but Bills place was already booked, as it should be because it was the perfect beach getaway. Next trip to the Depoe Bay we will be checking to try to stay with Bill again! Thanks again Bill!

I booked this unit last minute for a quick overnight trip for myself and 3 girlfriends. We didn’t want to spend a lot and didn’t need much as far as bells and whistles. This place was exactly what we had in mind and at a great price! I would definitely come back and stay again. The location was perfect in respect to the little Depot Bay strip and also very easy to find.

Charming, clean, comfortable. A mix of nostalgic and modern décor. Right across the street from a bench with a great ocean view. You can also see the ocean from the room. The host is very responsive and accommodating. A short walk to town. We would stay here again. Great shower, too!

This place is a gem! Nestled right along the coast, this place is clean, comfortable and cozy. You feel like a local staying in this lovely apartment style lodge. Its so close to the water and the town of Depoe Bay is great. I recommend staying here if you visit near here or Lincoln City!

Cozy little space for a weekend exploring the coast! Very prompt and clear communication across the board, and the check in/out process was a breeze. Great value! (FYI, while Depoe Bay doesn’t have beach access, there’s a lovely whale watching lookout just a few blocks north of Troller’s on 101)
