Trollers Lodge was super cute and a great place to stay in Depoe Bay. Close to everything as well as a secret little viewpoint on the backside. Comfy bed and room as well. We enjoyed our stay!

This was our second time staying at Trollers Lodge, and it was just as amazing as the first! The room was clean and comfortable and the location is perfect. Walkable to great restaurants and a central location for driving to many places along the coast.

Great experience, we stayed in #11 and there was a view of the water, was very easy to find and Depoe Bay was very beautiful and quiet while we walked around in the morning. We will definitely be back!

This is a very clean and well maintained property. From rustic roots, these folks have crafted an historic, humble room with a view. The price is sweet, the bed is soft, the amenities are chosen with care, and it’s walking distance to Depoe Bay proper. I’ll be back!

Wonderful motel room, very clean, with almost all the essentials. Good Roku TV system, full size coffeemaker, electric kettle, big mini fridge, clean bathroom, nice and hot water. Exactly what I needed for those two days. I had dinner with friends and family, and I was looking for a room for myself and my small dog. Would go again.

It was lovely. Our first time taking our newborn to a little hotel. All in all it was welcoming and comfortable. We went on a busy weekend which caused one of my dogs to huff and puff but that’s just a dog being a dog protecting his people. We went to bed really early due to new job and continued changes in our lives. Our son did great. We did go to bed extremely early. But it was all worth it. I would definitely like to stay here again. Btw it’s just a 4min walk down the road to an amazing Thai restaurant!

Bill and Peggy's place was very clean and comfortable. I could hear the waves at night, it was very peaceful!

My husband and I just got married in Depoe Bay. This location was perfect for us! It had an amazing view, was close to the center of town. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. We definitely will be returning soon! Much love Carley & Mac

Wonderful stay!

We had a one night stay here on our way back to Portland. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Depoe Bay is lovely. We felt it was a bit smaller than it looked in the picture, and it would have been nice to have a couple of plates and bowls. Overall a very good stay. Thank you.

Had everything we needed for a 1 night stay in quaint Depoe Bay. Nice, quiet area within walking distance of the “downtown” area. Would recommend if you’re doing a quick turnaround.

Clean, great location. From the room you can see parts of the ocean through the trees but not the full view. The walls are not super thick, so you can hear other guests moving about. The bathroom and shower is TINY so just fyi. They never claimed it to be big or anything, just something to be aware of.

A great place to stop with several good restaurants. Check before to walk to the one on the far side of the bridge/waterfront. They get full on busy weekends. Back to the room. Convenient location. Entrance is a very sharp reverse right, but fine. Not for large vehicles like campers. The room was small but clean, comfortable and well-appointed with view of water with waterfront properties across the street below. Nice amenities. A nicely updated motor court type motel given a nice new life. Very charming.

The troller lodge was very cozy and quaint. Our room was perfect for what we needed, the bathroom is small but has everything you need including soap, shampoo, lotion. Good brand too! The tv had Roku and made watching a movie super easy. Very quiet and peaceful. We could see the ocean peeking around the houses across the street and hear it too. You’re right at the edge of town, and walking distance to everything. Whale bites cafe right across the street! We will definitely stay again!

Always a lovely stay. Price is right. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Everyone is generally observant of the quiet hours, within reason. But definitely worth the stay!

Our room wasn’t large, but it was clean and very comfortable—great value for the price. Being close to downtown made it easy to walk everywhere. We’re definitely going back!

We had a brief one night stay, but it was a perfect spot for the night. It was comfy, cozy, clean, and had everything we could need for our stay. The ocean, restaurants, and anything else you need are right there - within walking distance really. We would highly recommend a stay here!

We just stayed one night and felt very comfortable but at about 5:30 in the morning someone tried to unlock our door. A neighbor (with kid(s)?) was loudly "checking in or out" (my guess) because of the rolling luggage sounds and creaking floor boards and voices. It was uncomfortable to wake up first to someone trying to unlock our door (they made a few attempts) and then hearing all the other noise we assumed it was this party coming or going. It was hard to get back to sleep but it was very peaceful after that so we got a few more hours in.

Bill and Peggy's place was perfect for my stay in Depoe Bay. The room was clean and felt very cozy and homey. You can also partially see the beach which I thought was a nice touch. Centrally located in town, would definitely stay again.

We have stayed here several times now and we always have a seamless and comfortable experience! When traveling with a dog this can be hard to come by, especially at a reasonable rate, so we really appreciate this location. It remains our go-to stay when we need to get away from Portland for a day or two. Thanks, and see you next time!

Loves our stay. Nicest people and view through some trees of the Pacific Ocean. We stayed here because they allow pets and we had our two small dogs with us. Totally great, good location, we will be back.

We had a lovely restorative stay at this charming inn easy walking distance to the famous bridge and eateries. The bed was comfortable and although the room was smaller it was plenty of room for two people and the hosts had equipped it with many thoughtful touches. The fridge was in a cabinet so there wasn’t any fridge noise - so helpful for good sleep! Bill and Peggy were great communicators and very proactive at giving advance info to guests at their cute inn. We loved exploring Depoe Bay and nearby beaches and will definitely stay here again on a future stay! Also Gracie’s Sea Hag is THE (BEST) PLACE to eat. Thanks for the recommendation. The housekeeping staff were also awesome!

Great place for a short stay. We had a few issues but they responded right away with a solution. Also an ocean view which we were not expecting!

The management was super friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early! The space was cozy and bony and we would definitely stay again.

parking was tight but we didn't leave the place till we left. not a far walk to the smoking site by the soda machine. just a jaunt on my walker to town. was quiet except for the king tides out in the bay.

This is my second time staying at the lodge, and I really don’t think you can find a better location in Depoe Bay for the price! You’re footsteps from everything the city has to offer. Your room is welcoming, comfortable, clean, and easy to find. It has everything you need for a short or long stay, and the ocean is right outside the door. I’m not sure you could ask for much else!

Our 2nd time staying here (different rooms), both times are peaceful & quiet.

We loved the location and the views. The room was clean and tidy when we got there everything was in working order. The only problem was that it was just way too small, but we’re a couple of big guys. The shower was especially small. I felt like I was taking a shower and a phone booth.

Very nice. Clean. Arrived and no ice tray in refrigerator. Owner gave us directions to 7/11. Would have preferred a loaner tray from his refrigerator.

A charming little bungalow. By today’s hotel standards, the toiletries were ample. The shower was tiny but the water was hot and the towels were soft. Very peaceful place to unwind and recharge.

This lodge is wonderfully located in a great town. The shopping, whale watching and food is great. The space has everything we needed. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs as the walls are thin between rooms.

It was just as advertised. I do not do well with hotel beds, but I slept like a baby. Very comfortable. Easy walking distance to shops and eateries. Bathroom was small but certainly was worked for our needs. Would absolutely return, intact already planning the next trip.

The cute old cabin was quite comfortable, clean with many thoughtful extras, quiet and with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. My room small but for two and a small dog it was wonderful! My whole experience with Peggy was friendly. I will definitely stay there again.

This was a spur of the moment decision to book a room here and I am glad I did. It was so comfy and nice. I was able to bring my cat and it felt very welcoming for her. The view from the front porch area was of the ocean. I would stay here again for sure. 🙂

Bill and Peggy’s place was fantastic! After staying in a very disappointing chain hotel the night before and paying 3x the price, this place was a welcome surprise! It was clean, easy to find and get into, had lots of amenities to make our stay comfortable, and we could watch the sunset over the oven from the bed! This place is close to everything we needed …. Whale watching, food, beaches, lookout points. We stayed in a lot of small towns along the coast and this was our favorite by far. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Depoe Bay.

Troller’s Lodge was a great stay on our trip on the Oregon coast. There was a great view right out the front door. The room was very clean and Peggy and Bill made it extremely easy to check in. As other reviews mention, the walls are pretty thin so this may not be the place for light sleepers but besides that the stay was great! I personally will definitely look forward to staying again!

This place is clean with everything you need. The view to the ocean is spectacular. There are quite a few good seafood Rey nearby. A good value for an overnight stay if our pacific coast trip.

The room and bathroom is small, but everything is as listed. The location is lovely. You are super close to the water and it’s quiet. We did have some trouble getting into our room-the code for the lock wasn’t working-but Peggy was very quick to respond to my call and get the issue fixed.

We loved the overlook picnic area and the proximity to Depoe Bay, which was a charming mini-town with the world’s smallest harbor. Number 11 is tiny but has great water pressure in the tiny shower and faces the water for a lil’ view of the ocean.

The room was overall fine. It was a bit confusing to find from the customer parking lot. There was a television, microwave, mini fridge, and keurig. These touches were nice and helpful. The shower had hot water but was super cramped and awkward. The walls are paper thin so you will most likely hear your neighbors. The view of the ocean was the best part. Overall, was good for a nights stay but wouldnt want to stay for longer.

Stay was amazing!!! Great location, beautiful view, and despite the lack of grocery stores, as well as limited options for (fast food) the local restaurants,/and corner markets made up for it🙂 To top things off our host were very responsive, helpful, and had unbeatable prices😁 I recommend!!!

Depoe Bay is small and adorable. it has a tiny harbor, a tiny downtown, and tiny places to stay. We're into tiny. We enjoyed staying here with our two tiny dogs. Neighbors were a little noisy, which tends to make sleeping well a challenge. Otherwise, bed was super comfy, and the room was stocked with everything we needed.

A small room that's nice for a night stay (we were heading further up the coast and needed a good midway point as we headed onward).

The Trollers Lodge is cute, quiet, and clean. We have stayed here twice and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. The check in process is contactless and streamlined which I appreciate a lot. There are individual parking spaces assigned to each room. Room T11 even had a view of the ocean over/through a neighboring property, which was a nice surprise!

Troller’s Lodge was a fantastic stay! The location is great—placing you right near restaurants and shops, with easy access to 101. The size is just perfect for one or two people. I never needed to contact the owner because I had everything I needed, including an ocean view! It felt cozy, safe, and homey—which is perfect for a solo traveler. I would certainly stay here again.

Great location and the room was clean. Easy check in/out. You can go walking to the “downtown”, maybe 5/8 minutes in total.

This place is centrally located in Depoe Bay! It was clean, and has all of the basic amenities. The only downside is the room is pretty small/cramped and so is the bathroom which we weren’t expecting. Other than that we loved our stay and the host was super nice! We would definitely stay again.

Location of this property is perfect. It is literally right on the 101. (But we never heard noise from cars) It is centrally located to explore the area. We were initially in a motel like room that was exactly as described. It fit what we needed, comfortable bed, table to eat and good shower. However, there was a small plumbing issue and we were moved to a much larger room. It was really cute with 2 beds, an eating area, and more space. It would be perfect for a young family. Communication was excellent.

For people giving bad ratings because it’s “outdated”. Come on now. Yea, it’s a little older but it was very clean. With updated decorations and bedding. And the bed, was worth every penny!

Nice stay. The apartment is a small motel room with minimal ocean view.

I brought my dog to Depoe Bay for the weekend. It was great. The room had everything we needed: microwave, coffee and mini fridge. It’s an easy walk down to the shops and a short drive to Gleneden Beach. I discovered a bead store called Beluga Beads just a couple miles away which very cool if you’re into beading. It’s a great location!

This place is clean, cute and stocked with hospitality. Location is across the bridge from downtown so everything is walkable. Highly recommend it!

Absolutely wonderful place! Right off highway 101. There's even a view of the ocean from the front porch. It had obviously been cleaned recently and the room was cozy and welcoming. I would stay here again!

Truly a fantastic Airbnb - don’t think, just book! Check in was phenomenally easy, as was parking. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are so cozy. But what I loved the most was the attention to detail in the rooms - blankets and pillows, coffee and popcorn, even makeup remover wipes. Everything was so carefully curated with the guests in mind. And it is so close to the water too! I loved it and absolutely recommend it.

It's a bit dated but has a comfortable bed and nice bed covers. I was surprised that there was a pretty nice view of the ocean from my room. It was a great price and would definitely come back if the same price was available.

What an awesome "motel" room. Lots of extra touches, great decor, and we could even sit on the bench in front of our room and watch the sunset!

Bills communication was was timely, and made it very easy for us to check in at our leisure.

Booked this little room for a last minute trip to Depoe Bay. Room was as pictured, roughly the size of a small hotel room. Check in was easy, location was perfect. It wasn’t the right fit for us due to a few things out of Bill’s control: our neighbors were extremely loud and the walls are very thin - probably not the place if you’re a light sleeper - and the safety lights outside the rooms were hard to block out and affected my sleep personally. However everyone was kind and responsive - if you’re looking for somewhere to crash after a day of exploring, this is a great option!

The room was clean and comfortable. While the bathroom is small, there was a thoughtful basket of items in case we forgot any essentials. It’s nice sitting on bench outside of room to have coffee while watching and listening to the ocean, which is a couple blocks up, but visible from most rooms! 😊

Very accommodating hosts. Although it is right off Hwy 101, the back units are quite quiet.

Easiest check-in ever, comfy bed, clean, close to everything without being loud, very reasonable price. We stayed only one night but from what we experienced, I’d totally recommend staying here for a short trip.

The Trawler was great for my quick trip to Depoe Bay! The room had everything I needed. I especially appreciated the ocean view, Keurig for hot water, and Bath & Body Works toiletries.

This place was exactly as shown in photos. Good shower pressure and heat levels. Comfortable bed. Coffee pods and popcorn were provided in room, which was a nice touch! About a 5-10 minute walk to a variety of restaurants and bars and you can see the ocean from the window. Will definitely stay again and am looking forward to checking out the different rooms!

Studio style room that was perfect for what I needed as far as ease of check in and out and location. Communication was simple and quick. Walk out the front door and see the ocean. No issues while I was there. Small fridge and microwave available with a comfy bed.
